BATS RESERVE TESTS POSITIVE
By Wednesday Donis, Sports
After the Ballycastle Bats won their game against the Tutshill Torndos, Ministry officials visited their locker rooms to perform the new standardized locker room searches announced by the Department of Games and Sports and BIL last week.
In a move anticipated by the Ministry, one of the Ballycastle Bats reserves, Gobra Dogshank, started to challenge Ministry officials when her locker was searched. They found two empty packets of performance enhancing supplements that we announced as banned last year.
Dogshank was immediately removed from the locker room area and a test was done on site (with assistance from designated St. Mungo's mediwitches). Such tests were administered with two witnesses - Penelope Clearwater, the healer for the Ballycastle Bats and Imogen Mate, Lead Healer from St. Mungo's.
After being found positive for the use of banned substances, Dogshank was immediately released from the Ballycastle Bats. As a reserve, she is banned from participating in any BIL event for the next year and is required to go to meetings at St. Mungo's twice a week.
When questioned about the event, Dogshank proceeded to use anti-social behaviour that we cannot relay to you through the pages of the Daily Prophet.
We were unable to reach any staff from the Ballycastle Bats for comment.
