The rules that I have are few and simple!

1. Credit! It's not hard, it directs people to where you got the icons if they would like to use them too, and it gets you Good Person Points every time you do it. You don't know how, you say? Just like this image below shows, when uploading an icon please mention quibblercons in the comment section.

If you're using my icons on a site that does not have these options (Invision Power Boards, etc.), or one of the journal layouts here or at LJ, please provide a link back to quibblercons on your profile page.

2. Don't Hotlink! It's rude. It wastes my free photobucket. End of story.

3. I don't mind if you don't comment when using my icons as they are, but if you're going to modify my icons (changing hair color, adding borders, using them as bases, any sort of modification counts), comment and let me know. Crediting as "base by quibblercons" is much appreciated, and if you're posting your own creations somewhere please do list this comm as a resource!

4. The one set of mature themed icons (NSFW) is housed at t_quibbler in a friends only post; so as not to offend anyone who doesn't want to view them. If you would like to view/use them, you are affirming that you are of legal age for wherever you are and are not breaking any laws or restrictions by doing so; also that you are mature enough to not be offended by the content and intend to use it in a responsible fashion. If all of the above holds true for you, please comment here to be friended.

5. As far as journal layouts are concerned, please be sure to credit all parties listed for credit, usually grrliz @ LJ. I am just beginning to understand CSS and Liz at the Fulcrum sponsored a challenge for layouts, where she kindly allowed me to modify some of her existing stylesheets. While you are welcome to make modifications for personal use, do not repost them as a layout for other people to use without first asking permission, both from me, and when applicable, Liz.

I ask for the verification of having read the rules not because I'm a jerk, or need the ego stroking of people joining Quibblercons; but because I use resource materials so graciously provided by other people, and want them to receive credit as well when they've asked for it.
