The full series marathon at qaf_marathons is still on hold until not_yet_defined finishes moving. Lucky us, we get to delay watching 220. Sob. In the meantime, we at InsaneJournal noticed that our fandom was somewhat preoccupied with the current battle raging between good and evil, otherwise known as the United States presidential election. So instead of fighting it, we've decided to embrace it! It all started with the startling discovery, documented by happier_bunny and me in picspam form, that Justin Taylor and Barack Obama are twins separated at birth. Then came the amazing fandom treasure created by qafmaniac, in which she took every single Brian/Justin buttsex scene in all five seasons of QAF and edited them together to show the healing power of love fucking. This in turn inspired the Fucking Referendum, in which the fandom voted for its favorite buttsex scenes from each season. All day we watched the returns, particularly tight in Season Three voting. Would futon!sex win, or would it be overcome by the hotness that is ahmaaazing!climate-controlled sex? They're still neck and neck, but it looks like the issue is going to be decided in a Fucking Debate, being held on Sunday night, October 12, at 7 PM Eastern Time (US) in qaf_coffeeclub .
