It's been a crazy-sexy week at InsaneJournal... come inside and see!

The full season marathon continued this week, as the very brave not_yet_defined  stuck with it through the very painful 218 and 219. She's in the middle of moving so isn't sure when she'll be viewing 220 (yeah, right, nice excuse), so be sure to watch qaf_marathons  for the next installment! And if you can't contribute during the marathon itself, she asked me to encourage people to visit the threads any time -- she loves getting comments on old discussions! Hunter clobbered Brian last week... yes, he really did!... so let's see how he does against Drew this time! Come read, and write, at qaf_drabbles! "It's all about sex." Those are the words that opened the first episode of Queer as Folk, and we on InsaneJournal take them to heart. And this week, bj_action  went all out, posting SEVEN new fics in the "Choose Your Own Adventure" challenge! There wasn't one bad story in this challenge -- a characteristic, it seems, of bj_action  challenges; I wonder why that is? We lead off with tweedygal's "Ready to Go," a hot little blow job fic set in Justin's studio at PIFA, with just a bit of hurt/comfort. I love PIFA!Justin and I loved this fic! Next was vamphile's "Personal Question," a sequel to her earlier "post-507 without a bomb" AU, "Personal Space." The sex is blazing... duh; it's vamph!fic... but in continuing the story of how Brian and Justin come back together without the bombing of Babylon, she brings the love and the sex together in one beautiful package. The third fic in the challenge is "Empty Chamber" by dirtylttlescret  . Set during the Pink Posse arc, this is... I have no words. Really. It's full of angst and love and pain and fear and adrenaline. It's filled with the connection between Brian and Justin, but also with all the things that threaten them. And yes, really... it's erotic fiction nonetheless. Beautiful. Fic number four is "Creative Control" by testdog65  , a wonderful writer who for some reason can only write for challenges. *stares in puzzlement* Fortunately there are lots of them, and fortunately she wrote for this one, because I nearly melted into a pile of volcanic goo when I read this. Let's just say there's paint involved. Fifth is tweedygal  's "Center of Attention," in which Brian gets Justin's attention. I'll leave the rest to her storytelling and your imagination. Then we have not_yet_defined  's very sexy "Goodnight, Twat," a beautiful phone sex story of the love. Yum. notreallyme10  's "Midnight" captures a gorgeous moment in which Justin misses Brian and gets off to his memories. Got vids? Check out an oldie but a goodie, "You Ain't Seen Nothin' Yet" by the always fantastical Valerie Z, in qaf_repixed  ! As always, some great classic fic is being recc'd over at qaf_retread  . happier_bunny  gives us the lovely "The Little Prince" by LJ's kjsilopanna, from the Dare Challenge, and url_girl  's "Bri-Dar." New meta this week: I talked about "The Big Chill" and how "friends only" policies on fanworks can harm fandom; not_yet_defined  wonders, over in qaf_coffeeclub  , about other scenes that are "replays" of each other, such as the post-Vermont Justin homecoming to find Brian fucking another guy in 218, compared with his 502 homecoming to find Brian fucking another guy. Plus: something's cooking at qaf_creamsauce  ! not_yet_defined  needs Season Three banners! cryforwhat  wants someone to write this bunny... and guess what? Someone did! And me and bunny want MORE BUTTSEX! There are never enough tiny iconized bits of Brian, Justin, and everything and everyone QAF. This week at qaf_icons, the theme is Emmett! And asylum maintainer brianslave68  is promising something new and unusual... AND A POLL!... in the near future. Watch for it!
