QAF Fandom InsaneJournal News -- 7/12/08

Hello, everyone! I think we're all still staggering in exhaustion and awe over the 223 drabbles posted in the Rim-o-rama, but there was lots of other news this week, and a little wank, too, which we're going to completely ignore because fandom? It's my happy place. :)

Rim-o-rama

It started last week. It ended this week. In between, 223 drabbles on the theme of rimming -- including its basketball and a few other non-sexual definitions. You can find all the drabbles here! This week's theme is "Secrets" and the battle is between last week's winner, Justin, and Blake -- the other blond twink!

Marathon: 206
Last week's marathon of episode 206 was rescheduled due for personal reasons. We're all sending big love to not_yet_defined, and she'll be back this week, on Tuesday at 9:15 PM Eastern, to pick up where we left off! Find last week's episode icons here!

Fan Fic Discussion Club

Clips and Vids

In the last issue, we met a new vidder in our fandom, noapologizes. This week, she changed her name to pye_wacket and made us two new vids! She posted them right in the middle of the drabble war, so it got kind of lost. Check them out and give her some love! They're "If I Ever Lose My Faith" by Sting and "Hold On" by Santana, and they're here! Plus: sidhe recs like5078's vid to Kiss Me by Blink, which she says is what brought her to fandom!
