Eyes rolling, Justin drew the door shut. Glue, brushes and posters were abandoned in a pile as numb fingers immediately started shedding layers of clothing.

“I don’t care what it took to get you to help, Brian.” Justin’s shrug morphed into a shiver. “I nearly froze my balls off hanging those posters.”

“Hmmm, I can take care of that.” Lowering Justin’s underwear, Brian knelt and nuzzled chilled flesh. “Since I’m feeling so helpful tonight...”

No lovers’ spats, although Hunter and Molly did take some ribbing about their new "couple" status.

No one got drunk or high enough to piss anyone off, even if some were enjoying the very good wine and feeling no pain.

None of the kids ate too much and threw up. The turkey didn't get ruined. No one contracted a disease, moved to another city, or had their house burn down.

No, this year on Thanksgiving at Britin, nothing terribly remarkable happened, and for that, everyone gave thanks.
