CHRIST!!!
I had to upload this damn video FIVE times before it finally worked!I don't know what's wrong with 4shared BUT they will definitely get a not-so-nice email from me.Lets see what their support team have to say this time.

So,vl_redreign has had a visit from her vid muse a few weeks ago while she was driving.Damn,can you believe that said muse was suddenly sitting on the passenger seat?Hm,seems to be a really weired muse....;D
Anyway,the muse gave her some ideas for a Brian cancer arc vid while Red was listening to Shut Your Eyes by Snow Patrol.Her muse was really persistent and told Red that she MUST talk to me and so she did...

So, I've been working on Directions today.... it's so good to feel the fic flowing again. :)
I am going to try to finish it this weekend and send it for beta, although I may need next weekend to get it done. I should probably wait until after the Thanksgiving weekend to post it, shouldn't I?
In other news, I have bunnies for a Xena/Gabrielle fic, a Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer fic, and a Michael/Ben fic, and NO ONE but me really wants to read any of those things. It makes me sad, yo.
Although I also have a Drew/Emmett bunny and I know at least Travis likes to read those! |

Last night I was working on icons for  queer_as_xmas and was able to get quite a few done for submission. You will be able to see those once they are revealed in a few weeks. I was inspired though and kept going this morning.

I swear, if I don't get a tan this summer, sitting in the sun for a while every day with my rabbit, I never will.
When I think objectively, I also find it strange that I consider lying on the lawn reading while my rabbit flops in his cage to be spending quality time with him. But.. you know... I scratch him a bit and we look at each other and he tooth-purrs.
Also: went to meeting with the psych unit. Diagnosed with social phobia. Was told I'd probably feel better if I got volunteer work or something. THINGS I ALREADY KNEW FOR $500. |

I know I have been really absent lately, RL has really gotten out of hand. Since my daughter and her two children have moved into our apartment, things have been really chaotic. Please just nudge me every once in a while to remind me that I have a life outside of grandchildren. It seems that I have become the baby sitter once more.
I was going through some of my older graphic post over at pfodge over on LJ and realized that I've never posted this wallpaper that I made of Emmett anywhere.

Originally, I intended to post something like an introduction because, as my fandoms branch out, there are new people on my flist. And I tend to be loud and opinionated when it comes to head exploding kink fics. Figured offering some insight to me might help explain the tangent rants I sometimes have. Along with the fact that most, if not all, of my fics have some display of power dynamics, no matter how subtle.
I'm sure those of you who know me best find that to be an understatement. Heh.
This has morphed, through conversations with friends, into not only a hey, this is me post, but also one that, for lack of tact on my part, is a whoa! let's think about this before you write it post. Mainly because BDSM comes under enough fire without having misleading works of fiction floating around out there stirring up more trouble than they're worth.
And, honestly, not trying to be a bitch, but if a piece of fiction disregards the basic principles of safe, sane, and consensual they really are more trouble than they're worth. They set a stage for others, those not in the scene, that can lead to misunderstandings, arguments, and, most important, serious injury.
Not cool.
Not when it takes just a few lines of dialogue, or even implied conversation to lend believability and credibility to the work.
To that end, I've started a list. ( Which is actually quite funny seeing as I despise lists. )
Got questions? Ask 'em. I'd rather you ask me something embarrassing than you make my head go splodey in the next fic I run across.

In an attempt to try to forget about my RL right now, I'm going to post some Favorite Fives. Lists of five related things, random topics, posting whenever I feel like it.
Feel free to play along if you want -
Tonight's topic: My Five Favorite Birthdays:
- 30th – I had a lot of trouble with 29 but by 30 I realized I was an adult and loved it.
- 7th – My mother packed us all hobo bags and we carried them on long sticks to the local park.
- 13th – I had a ‘come as you want to be party’ where everyone was supposed to come dressed as their future occupation. I went as a teacher which I was sure I would be. Turns out I’d make really lousy teacher.
- 12th - My birthday is on May 3rd and my party was on the 1st. My mother made a beautiful May pole with multicolor ribbons tied around it. Each one led to the place setting of one of the party goers. It was beautiful.
- 50th – My husband found 50 plastic flamingos and put them in our front yard with a big sign that said, “Look who flew in for a 50th Birthday". Then he made a May pole exactly like the one I had on my 12th birthday. I cried.
Anyone else have favorite birthdays?

Does anyone remember me?
I'm slowly...very slowly starting to crawl out of my hole. Champ is doing a bit better but he's not out of the woods yet. His recent test results are positive and he's eating more and more on his own each day but I still have to feed him and he still has his stomach tube.
Anyhoo, I'm going to try to be around a bit more at least to check my flist. I feel so lost.

Yesterday I decided that my kitchen really could use some redecoration and so I took today off from work.I bought some lovely orange/peach colored wallpapers and then I did my best...

I did a lot of cleaning after the mess that I've made (The snippets from the old wallpapers were EVERYWHERE!!!) and I'm not done BUT I guess the dirt can wait till tomorrow.I'm sure it will not go away.... |
