GROCERY CHALLENGE
A few years back there was a Grocery Store Challenge held. All the fics are great, but these two are exceptional.

The unique and brilliant Busy Week on the Fridge by LJ's julad.

And the it-could-only-be-by-Myrna wonderful Thanksgiving by LJ's myrna1_2_3

Enjoy!

*THIS* is why I love this community so much. I saw the "Busy Week on the Fridge" thing early, early in my fandom days...back when I'd just click and click on whatever I saw and lose myself in trying to figure it all out. I loved this, but didn't note where it was, so I figured I'd never see it again.

BUT. Now I can save it! Thanks!!!!!

Oh I love these! I saved the whole index of them into my jetpack for later reference and they still amaze me. :) "Busy week on the fridge" makes more sense now though than it did before.

Thanks for the recs! I read both waiting for my daughter at her drs. appt today...I laughed SO LOUD at "Busy Week On the Fridge" --- I forgot I was in a waiting room! Glad I was the only one there.

What does Brian want with the Codeine? Isn't Justin allergic? Better be careful with that one! ;p

I went back and read Myrna's WIP...What happened to her? That part 9 teaser for the one with Justin and that Dan Forrester? OMG....I WANT TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENS!!!! Can someone please finish it?

I think the codeine was a joke, because Justin was bitching about the bread ;)

Argh! It frustrates me no end that she never finished that fic. I've begged - it didn't help. I think that one's gonna stay unfinished.

Yeah...Let's go with the codeine as a joke! No poisoning Justin when Brian gets cranky now!

I think I may start a new rule too of no reading WIP's unless the writer is someone I'm really comfortable with and who I trust to stick around....I'm new to the fandom and as a reader I tend to get pretty invested in the better stories...when I get left hanging it's torture!!!!!

Yeah, I don't read wip's anymore for the same reason. Only ones by a couple certain people.

Thanksgiving makes my heart ache every time I read it. It starts out funny but damn does it have a kick at the end.

This site is like a goldmine! I feel so lucky, I'm in the last days of a long stretch of unemployment, savoring my time off. The link to Myrna's stuff kept me reading all last evening, Graduating Gus and the Domesticitiy things knocked my socks off what a talent she is, such a wonderful grasp of a mature Brian, strong Justin and the dialogue.... WOW! Never saw her stuff before, thanks for this!

You're very welcome! Have you read her looong brain tumour fic? If not, I highly recommend it. Just click on the myrna tag and it should take you there.
