Note: The vigilante storyline would have been much better in Season 2, of course, but as someone once said, there’s no turning back....Cowlip are doing a good job of setting it up and avoiding character whiplash.First they establish Justin’s bond with Darren, at the same time giving us insight into how Justin copes with his own bashing memories.It comes as no big surprise that he hasn’t dealt with them at all.He’s learned from the Master: don’t think about it and it will (eventually) go away.Only it doesn’t go away.It stays and festers and turns into something ugly.Cody’s tirade awakens Justin’s long-repressed rage....but more to that later. ;-)
