A bead of sweat runs down Justin’s spine. Brian’s. Breath. Catches.

He reaches with as lips, his teeth, his whole body. He devours it.

Justin leans his head back, eyes closed and smiling.

He keeps painting.

Brian watches. And sometimes touches.

He feels like a witness to greatness. Sometimes a bystander. Sometimes part of it.

In moments like this - despite the discomfort - Brian can believe that some choices he made right.

They travel an imperfect path shaped by laughter and tragedy. They bicker. They fuck. They are together and apart.

Ever changing course but sure in destination.

Gravity.
