3 drabble series - What's in the box?
Title: What's in the box?

A/N: an unbeta'd 3 drabble ficlet, in under the wire. And oddly it could be an extension of the fic I wrote for the gift exchange this year!

"Someone's ringing the doorbell."

"So answer it."

"I'm naked."

Brian's head popped around the bathroom door, his mouth open, his eyebrows raised, "So am I."

Justin huffed, and got out of bed, grabbing a pair of discarded pants. He ran down the stairs, yelling, "I'm coming." Although it was doubtful he could be heard.

By the time he flung open the door the FedEx man was already halfway back to his truck. "Sorry," Justin called out.

The guy spun his dolly around, looked at Justin and grinned, "No problem."

He unceremoniously dumped 4 large boxes just inside the door, "Merry Christmas."

...

Justin shut the door behind him, curiously opening the first box. It occurred to him that maybe he shouldn't, it could be for him after all. But Brian hadn't told him not to.

Inside the first box he discovered several smaller boxes.

What the fuck?

He opened the next one.

Same thing.

"Brian!" He yelled.

Brian appeared at the top of the staircase, "Yes dear?"

"What is this?"

Brian just shrugged, "Christmas gifts. You told me you didn't have time to shop. And I sure as fuck didn't want to do it"

"So you just bought everyone iPads?" Justin asked incredulously.

Debbie got to it first, "What is this thing? One of those frames you can put all them pictures in and watch it like a slide show?"

Then Gus and Hunter with simultaneous, "Sweet!"

Then JR, "Brian, what's Jenny going to do with an iPad? She's five."

Then Melanie, "Really, Brian? For each of us? Isn't that over-kill?"

Michael chimed in, "Can I read digital comics on this?"

Ben, "This is really too much."

Emmett wondered if he should regift it since he already had the first version. Or maybe he should keep it. It was newer. And so shiny.
