Falling For You

As Vic helped him settle his freshly cast broken ankle on the coffee table, Brian snarled over his shoulder, “You can stop cackling at any time, Deb.”

“Why? I think it’s fucking hysterical!” she roared. “Drunkenly climbing into your boyfriend’s bedroom window at three A.M., promptly falling right back out—”

“He’s not my fucking boyfriend,” Brian corrected yet again.

“You keep telling yourself that, Romeo.”

“He’s not my fuck—”

“Save your strength, Brian,” Vic advised. “You’ll need it when the rest of the gang find out.”

Clutching a throw pillow to his face, Brian’s muffled “Motherfucker” was still clearly heard.

Haha, I love this!

Back when I was a teenager I had a boyfriend climb into my 2nd floor bedroom window in the middle of the night. Fortunately he didn't fall! That boyfriend is now my husband. :D
