"You'd think a gay ski patrol would have hotter guys, but sadly no." Emmett winced as he settled back on the sofa in the lobby.

"Well, don't you worry, Em. There are plenty of cute guys here." Ted eased a pillow under Emmett's ankle, setting his crutches within arms reach. "Are you sure you'll be all right?

"Yes. You and Blake go! Calvin will be back any minute. He wants to fuss over me, and have me regale him with my skiing adventure."

"Hmm, he evidently doesn't know you tripped on the way to the bar for a hot toddy."
