“Trick or treat, Justin?”
“Huh, Brian?” I looked at him quizzically. “It’s April.”
“So? You can’t choose just because it’s the wrong month?”
“Okay, okay. Treat then.”
Brian smiled. “Good boy, treat it is.”
I felt like I somehow missed the real point of this conversation when Brian dragged me out of the bed saying, “We don’t have any time to waste.”
He must have seen the confusion in my eyes because he added
“You’re a bit slow today. No tricks means no masquerade for our dicks at Halloween. We just have to get tested now to make that happen.”
