Justin opened the file Lindsay sent him and immediately called Brian. He’d barely stopped laughing when Brian answered the phone. “So have you seen the pictures?” he asked.
“It’s not funny,” Brian snapped. “What the fuck was Lindsay thinking?”
“Gus is eight,” Justin explained patiently. “I don’t think you can blame his costume choice on Lindsay this year.”
“There is no fucking way my son would voluntarily dress as a processed meat product.”
“He was a hotdog, Brian, you can say it. I wonder if Mel made him kosher?” Justin’s laugher almost drowned out the sound of the dial tone.
