Emmett wasn’t disappointed when he watched the two lovebirds wander into the diner after their ‘trip’. Maybe it was because he was the only one they had confided in about their actual destination. He knew to look at their hands to see matching glints of platinum rings.

“Hey Em,” Justin said, smiling, lifting up the plastic cover on the lemon bars.

“Oh my fucking God!” Debbie yelled, it had become clear to her too.

Justin stilled until Brian wrapped his arm around Justin’s waist and pulled him tight.

Emmett smiled before getting up, “Don’t worry the reception is all ready.”

	That's perfect. They would totally go away to get married so as not to make a big show about it, just for Debbie to make a big deal about it as soon as they got back. But she'd make a big deal about it no matter what. I mean, they fucking got married. It is a big deal. (Reply to this) (Thread)

Well it seemed to me like the only way they'd do it and have it be for real. I have too many associations of weird!pre-marriage Brian with the whole actual wedding thing. So, ta da!

I do have a couple more drabbles I'm going to share tomorrow that stem from this one. I have an married/Britin!B/J obsession. I want it like a crystal queen wants to high.
