As he leads you onto the dance floor you can’t think of a single reason why you had chosen to punish yourself by visiting Babylon tonight anyway.

Your eyes keep finding Teddy’s, and each time you die a little more at the stranger you see staring back.

You force yourself to hear what Brian has to say, and then finally, his sheer arrogant confidence makes you really listen.

You were always a survivor, fighting your way to young adulthood in the Hell that was Hazelhurst had proven that.

Happiness was yours for the taking.

It was time to keep dancing.
