Hustler Justin XXIX
Whore In A Hoody

He cleans up the pizza and walks the box to the trash. He spends another forty minutes making sure every crumb and scrap of packing material is gone. I stop him when he pulls out the vacuum cleaner a second time. “Justin.”

“It can’t look lived in.”

“You live here.”

“I live there” he points to his room.

“That’s why you don’t sit on the furniture?”

“I’m just not used to it.”

“To what?”

“Using it. Isaac…”

He trails off and leaves me with the image of him sitting at Isaac’s feet like a puppy never allowed on the sofa.

~~~322~~~
He’s upset again. I pull him to the sofa and sit next to him. “See, I’m sitting on it.”
"Because I’m here.”
“I sit on it if a client is here and wants me to. They usually don’t.”
He gets that blank stare.
“I’m going to stop talking about what clients ask for.”
“I don’t want you to stop that.”
“Yes you do.”
“It’s hard to hear. That doesn’t mean I shouldn’t hear it.”
“You want a written report?”
He looks at me thoughtfully.
“I was joking.”
“I like the idea.”
“Shouldn’t someone find this sick?”
“Not for that, twat.”
~~~323~~~
I stare at him for a minute and he starts to fidget.

Justin… can you write it all down, everything, start with… home, your mother, all of it and just keep going 'til you get to… here.”

“Well, I wanted to learn to type, this would be good practice.”

What I’m thinking may be wrong, but then again, people love to hear about the horrors others have been through. I think I’ve found my ghostwriter.

“No one’s going to care.”

"Justin. If you don’t want to do this you don’t have to. We’ll change your name. You can be anonymous."

~~~324~~~
He’s out of his fucking mind. No one wants to hear my story. It’s boring. “Will people think it’s you?”
“No, they’ll think I made it up, no one will believe it’s real.”
“But it is real. It’s my real life.”
“Do you want people to know that?”
“Yes. I made choices and I’m here and I’m not ashamed even if you are.”
“I’m not ashamed of you. I just wasn’t sure…”
“Well I’ll write it, because you want to read it. But I don’t think anyone else will.”
No one else will be interested but Brian wants is…
Hmmmmm. *strokes chin* I'm not quite sure how I feel about this development. I can see how it would be therapeutic for Justin to write everything out, but for Brian to use that in his book...? Is he really going to?
I'm not sure. my head isn't really in the game today.
I think justin writing it out would be good for him. Having it published would be good for him financially as well. If it gets Brian out of a bind too, so be it, but even if it doesn't, it might be a valuable therapeutic tool.
Interesting development. It could be mutually beneficial. If Justin actually sees the words on paper maybe they will start to sink in.
that's the plan, Brian's smart like that. as Justin explains things they make less sense out loud, so you know this could be helpful.
I'm thinking Justin might not be too keen on people knowing his story when he gets to the end. He can barely admit it to himself. Still, this could be a good thing for him.
I'm not sure Brian's really planning to publish it. I think he has other ulterior motives.
Interesting. I think the act of writing is going to be harder on Justin than he imagines - and harder for Brian to read than he's thinking right now. Also, the image of Justin not being allowed on the furniture - did I mention how much I hate Isaac?
yeah, isaac is... you've mentioned it and you're not wrong. Justin not allowed on the furniture? pfft, he's JUSTIN, he's allowed anywhere he wants to be, kthnx.
and yeah, as hard as it is for justin to write, i think brian may have a LOT of difficulty reading it.
but you've been reading it in dribs and drabs... and it might help justin.
Creating a linear narrative is a very useful tools sometimes.
interesting idea. i mean writing it out can be really good for justin in the long run. if he actually reads it and discusses it with someone even better. and if he gets to a point where he realizes how fucked up and wrong what happened to him was, he might find value in sharing his story...
i don't like the idea that brian is seeking to benefit from it...
dear...i love this story...i want more constantly...but you've had a for shit day. and tomorrow you probably won't feel all that much better. so don't write out of obligation. if you aren't in the mood. we will all understand...for at least 3 or 4 days. but longer than that...i'll come looking for you.
i will write tomorrow. tomorrow HAS to be better.
and yeah, that's it for today, although that's odd for me, i'm just going to bed...
brian isn't really seeking to benefit from it and i thin that once he reads it, he may decide that it's more than he can handle reading, let alone trying to get published.
trust me.
justin's acceptance of charlie at his door seems indicative of brian's progress in helping justin. but brian has work to do to eliminate:
"the image of him sitting at Isaac’s feet like a puppy never allowed on the sofa."
#322-#324 surprised me...but writing is a great method for self-examination and hopefully a new sense of awareness on justin's part.
i think these are interesting comments from justin:
“But it is real. It’s my real life.”
“Yes. I made choices and I’m here and I’m not ashamed even if you are.”
I actually dreamed about your story last night, so it was just brilliant to see the next part has been posted.
aaahhh... and our boy Justin is finally getting it, even though it's killing him. but it's all good, since Brian is there to dry all the tears! :)
Writing it all down might be good for Justin. I wonder if he'll see the wrongness of it all once he tries to get it down on paper when he will want to - in his mind, once and for all - get Brian to understand what a "WONDERFUL, LOVING" person Isaac was to him. How he LOVED him. How he TOOK CARE of him... I wonder if he'll be able to make himself believe it in the end...
Hmmm... I can see the writing going a few directions. It can either help Justin and he'll see how badly Isaac treated him and want to make changes. Or he won't think anything of it and reading his whole life will make Brian even more overly protective of Justin.
