Ted was right behind The Doctor when he realized he was about to walk into a small police box with a man he hardly knew. Pausing outside the door he looked into the TARDIS and was stunned at how big it was inside, starting to panic he ran around the outside and when he got back to the door, The Doctor was leaning against it.

“The inside's bigger than the outside?”
“Yes.”
“It’s alien?”
“Yeah.”
“You’re alien?”
“Yes… Is that all right?”
“Teddy just stared at him in shock”
“That's OK. Culture shock. It happens to the best of us.”
