Easy Lemon Cookie Recipe
I am probably the last person in the western hemisphere to learn that you can make cookies from cake mixes. But, these are the best lemon cookies I have ever had, and so, so easy!

Since one cannot live by Deb's lemon bars alone, I figured I would share this recipe with you all.

Lemon Cookies

1 Lemon Cake Mix
1 Egg
4 oz. Cool Whip (I used Cool Whip Free)
Powdered Sugar

Combine all ingredients except powdered sugar. Roll into balls, roll in powdered sugar and place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes. Cool slightly before removing from sheet.

	You are welcome. Oh, BTW you can make them with other flavors like orange or strawberry and they come out great. I haven't ever tried with chocolate or such, though. Enjoy! (Reply to this) (Parent)

Cream Cheese Cookies

They're slightly more complicated than your lemon cookies, but still made with a cake mix! And they're SO GOOD!

Ingredients:
1/4 cup butter or margarine, softened
1 8-ounce package of cream cheese, softened
1 egg yolk
1/4 teaspoon vanilla
1 package devils food or yellow cake mix

Instructions:
Cream softened butter and cream cheese with a fork. Mix in egg yolk and vanilla. Add cake mix 1/3 at a time, mixing well with a fork or spoon (it's too thick to use a mixer). Cover and chill for 30 minutes. Drop by teaspoon on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes. Makes 3-4 dozen.

	Yum! Thank you for this, these do sound good, I have heard of putting sour cream in cookies and cakes before, but not cream cheese. Can't wait to try it! (Reply to this)
