Why A Jeep?
Hello! I am brand new here on IJ and to this community. I didn't know I could join this community right away and now I'm nervous but also excited! If I do things wrong, please have patience and any advice will be appreciated.

I've been reading fanfic at http://morpheusqaf.com and it has a lot of Brian's history. It describes how he came to love designer clothes and furnishings and other fine things.

But I don't understand why Brian would choose the black Jeep as his car! I have one Friend I have discussed this with, but I'd really love to hear what other people think.

Thank you for having this community for people to talk!

I don't know if that was ever explained, but Brian's tall, and Jeep Wranglers are a bit up off the ground, depending on the year. Plus, it's American made, and IIRC, C/L stated that Brian would want an American car, especially a muscle car, which explains the hideously fugly Corvette. there was a scene in 109, I think, when Brian went to the ealership to get a new Jeep, and the dealer told him that he didn't want that, that "fags drive them." Which explains him driving it through the showroom window.

I hate Corvettes. They're rolling pieces of shit. When I was a kid, the motto was "Wrap your ass in fiberglass, buy a Vette today!"

The only good model was the 1958/59 model.

I see Brian in not a American car, but a foreign sports car, like a Ferrari or Lamboghini.

"Wrap your ass in fiberglass, buy a Vette today!" ROFLMAO That is freaking hilarious!

See, I had an uncle who was like "Joe Cool" and he had a Corvette, must have been a late sixties/early seventies, looked exactly like Brian's and my cousins, brother, and me all thought it was the tuffest thing we had ever seen. It's still the epitomy of cool for me. I freaking orgasmicly LOVE Brian's vette, but I have to admit that with his love of Italian food, furniture and clothes, I am kinda surprised that Brian doesn't have an Italian car, too!

With Brian's dad being tight with the union guys, I imagine "buy American," at least for cars, is because of his upbringing.

I'm with you on loving the vette. It's just so beautifully pornographic to me.

That was an awesome scene! I have often wondered if the fact that Brian Kinney, stud of Liberty Avenue, had one was the reason that it was known that fags drove them.

The first comment to my first post ever and I just got distracted from my original post. I also think the Vette was hideously fugly! Not the car itself, but the colors.

I prefer a classic Camaro myself.
