A quick hair!porn referral and request
Since I know a lot of the folks here have a particular love for Justin's hair, Brian's love for it, and hair!porn that derives therefrom, and I also know that many of you don't venture to LJ unless you have to, I thought I should point out that you might want to wander over there for this little fic I just read that made me think of you:

And of course, feel free to use this opportunity to extol the virtues of Justin's hair and/or other fics that take good advantage of it.

ETA: I am absolutely horrified to find (and ashamed to admit) that I don't have any good icons showing Justin's long hair except this one. And while that is probably because my personal preference is that I find him much more attractive when it's a bit shorter, it is a sin of omission not to have any icons to represent the important, if fairly brief, occurrence that was his long hair. So please include your favorites in your comments.

I thought the story was hot... but... on a meta level, not about the story but the subject of Justin's hair...

One of the things I loved best about the S4 haircut was how Brian never said a word about it other than "Your haircut's hot." While a nation of fangirls wept and rent their garments, Brian was rubbing Justin's buzzcut with a smitten look on his face.

To me, 401 is Justin's most perfect hair, see icon. It's a bit too shaggy in S3 for me. Next best I like his S5 hair. But what I like best of all, as I said, is how Brian knows it's Justin's hair, and doesn't ever express an opinion on it either way. I find that really beautiful.

My favorites are his 110-122 hair -- like when he got his PIFA acceptance letter -- and his S5 hair. Nor do I mind the buzz cut or when it was growing in. The longer hair is okay, but I generally find him much less attractive that way, probably because it makes him more androgynous, and I prefer men to look like men.

The only time I've really liked Justin or Randy with long hair, was the way Randy had it when he was doing Equus.

Brian's such an incredibly tactile guy, I'm sure he'd love petting it no matter what the length or cut. I know I would! And you're right, he's certainly not the type to pressure Justin one way or the other, but saying the haircut's hot is expressing an opinion on it.

Gotcha. Agreed. And apparently Justin never pressured Brian either, even when his hair became fairly tragic at times. ;)

And damn not being able to edit -- sorry for the dup.

After a bit more research, I should modify to say that S1 hair in general comes first for me (it's not just the mid-late season hair), except on the rare occasion when he brushes it up in front instead of down, which I'm not as fond of.

Haven't read the fic yet because I'm veeery busy with iconizing all the Diner scenes and I really don't know what I'm doing here on my f-list when I should make tiny pics but....
