    looking for a beta
    Hi!


    I'm known as sfscarlet on LJ and am looking for a beta. I write mostly post 513 fic. I'm looking for someone to look at grammar as well as give feedback. Nice ( but not necessary) someone to brainstorm occasionally with fic ideas. Someone to make sure that chapters have continuity ( start in the bedroom- next scene outside- but oops how'd they get there.) I write Brian/Justin- no death fic. I do write sex scenes and any feedback on those would be great, but not necessary.

    Hopefully, someone will be willing to help out.

    Beta Preferences: What am I looking for in a beta? Taming my coma addiction, correcting tenses, checking spelling that escaped my spellcheck, and some comments about contents both complimentary ;) and concrit.
    At this time, I am also looking for a regular beta. Together needs to be double betaed before I archive it. Beware though, before volunteering for this one, that it is really long, around 200000 words or so...

    Can someone help this author out? She and her co-writer are looking for a beta for their "Seasons" challenge fic. I know a lot of you complain about un-beta'd fics, and in fact, we don't allow unbeta'd fics in the challenge. So please, check out this post and her comment with more details, and please, step up and offer to beta for them!

    I am currently writing the last section of my gift exchange fic and should be done within the hour. It will be about 5000 words, and I don't want to give too many details here, but no warnings, there's not even any sex. Fics are due tomorrow so I'll take a good proofread although I always prefer a content beta as well.

    I know it can be difficult to find a beta especially if you are new to QAF or IJ or if you are like me and always looking at the last minute.
