I've completed my multi-chaptered fic "Daiki" and posted it on my journal. (Actually, it was originally posted on the Pet Shop of Horrors Fanfiction Yahoo Group a few years ago, which accounts for the odd chapter numbering; some of the chapters were too long to fit on a single LJ post, so I had to split them up.) It's a crossover with Yumiko Kawahara's Dolls manga, which is very similar to Petshop, complete with androgynously beautiful shopkeeper in Chinese robes (see icon), except that this shop sells Plant Dolls instead of pets.

| Four Petshop stories |

I've been working on a new Petshop fic that references characters and events that took place in old stories that I originally posted on the Pet Shop of Horrors Fanfiction Yahoo Group and on personal archives, including my own website. I thought it might be easier for new readers if I re-post them on LJ and IJ, and it would be convenient to have all my Petshop fics in one place. The first couple are pretty AU, since they were based solely on the anime (as stated in the author's notes) since the manga had not yet been licensed by Tokyopop, but I hope that people will enjoy them anyway.
Revenge, PG-13: When D's life is threatened, it forces Leon to make a choice he has been avoiding.
The Day After, PG-13: Leon struggles to come to terms with his feelings for D on the day following the events in "Revenge".
FX, PG: A silly crossover fic where the kitsune character FX from Mercedes Lackey's Serrated Edge series visits his cousin Ten-chan at the petshop.
Kitsune Reunion, PG: Sequel to "FX"; crossover with Mercedes Lackey's "The Chrome Circle" and Rumiko Takahashi's "Inu Yasha". Ten-chan and FX are asked to baby-sit a young kitsune cub (Shippo from "Inu Yasha").

I just bought the 2nd volume of "Pet Shop of Horrors: Tokyo," which contains the side story "Dignity," which explains how Vesca Howell met Papa D in college. But I was surprised to see that although Agent Howell's first name had been translated as "Vesca" in the first series, in this story he is called "Weskar" instead.
