Helpful Suggestions for the Host Club and things I have up already
Okay so I figured that it would be a good idea to set up a thread about the Host club and how it works. So under the following links is info on the Club, about memberships, about clients, and places for rules and suggestions.
Please note I'm open for any ideas for how this club can work. The main goal of the Host club is not to match pairs, rather its so students can socialize in an environment where students don't feel intimidated and have to bend to pressure. It's supposed to be a fun and relaxed place where people can be happy and learn to get along.
So what is the Host Club here? Well as stated above it's more a place of socialization rather than romantic hook ups. Though that can happen, but it's more the idea of building friendships between people that normally wouldn't interact. Kaoru's goal stems from the fact that he sees students not feeling included due to looks, skills, and for other reasons. In his mind the best way to combat this is to set up a situation where the students can interact with one another and not feel pressured. Also he wants to provide a place where people can feel like family and gain close friends. He thinks in doing this it will give people more of a chance to interact and know about one another in a better way. This will give them a chance to see that they are not as different as they would like to think. He also hopes it will make people more oriented towards doing things together and avoiding being roped into joining with the more dangerous part of society.
It's a mix. the main goal of this is because Kaoru, seeing as he went to the police station where his dad worked a lot to drop off lunch and stuff, would see teens getting into trouble because they didn't have a place where they could be socially accepted or at least feel that they could be. It lets different social classes interact and basically tries to give people a sense of individuality, while giving them a way of keeping out of trouble and learning to interact better with each other.
The club itself is broken into three main groups:
The Hosts/Hostess -Those that are part of the club as members and go around chatting with and doing things with the clients.
The Clients -people that come to check out the members and interact with them.
The Friendlies -these are people that come for the main social interaction, and not to talk with the hosts or Hostesses. The friendlies are there for the food and fun, over actually wanting to talk with members. But they will get roped in, in some way eventually.
The Club is situated in a Western style house that is rented by Kaoru, and lies between Bikanhigure and Asahikage. It's split into a total of four floors. The main is the first floor, having a kitchen, a dining hall that fits 15 at a table, others are placed in the sitting room which is next to the dining hall, there's a Living room that opens up into the main hall. The Living room is the largest room in the main floor. There are closets and a smaller den for games and stuff to have happen, this is connected to the sitting room. There are stairs in the main hall that go up to the second floor. Rooms here are bedrooms, a library, bathrooms, a study, and some storage rooms. Members and clients are not allowed to use the bedrooms for their own "fun". The bedrooms are for guests that want to stay over overnight and pay a small fee to the club to use a room. There are bedrooms that are assigned to two members. Third floor is basically Attic and observatory where people can star gaze under a sky roof. The Basement is the fourth floor, it has a bar (mostly non alcoholic drinks) a gaming room, and a TV room. It's been fully decorated. There is a back yard with a pool, a garden in the traditional style with fish, however it is small.
There are four accounts for the Club. The first is for House Upkeep (House and Garden repairs), Food and Event (For food and events in the house and outside the house), Fees for the Club (Takes care of paying the rent for the house and also paying dues to the schools and such, for community service etc), and Salary Fund (For anyone hired to help out at the house who is not a member and is older than college age.)
Members of the Host club can be either sex. They must be at least 16 years of age, have scores of C or higher to stay as members. They can be from either the High school or the college. College students are not allowed to flirt with students that are under seventeen, while High school students are asked not to flirt with College students that are over twenty one.
Members must pass a course to become members, and are taught various ways of acting around clients. Members are expected to help out in the house, and are asked to keep the place tidy, and are expected to treat all clients with respect and honor, they are your guests you treat them like that.
Members are not allowed to engage in activities that would tarnish the club; this means any adult situations will not be allowed between clients and the members in the house. If you wind up in a relationship with a client, you are then no longer allowed to flirt with the opposite sex, or must make sure the client knows you are not in the market.
Members should be presentable at all times while in the club. Members are expected to be polite and honest.
Clients are the patrons of this Host club. Clients come in for a variety of reasons. From wanting to be around good looking people, to learning how to socialize, to learning to dance to well, all sorts of things. The Clients are expected to pay a small fee if staying over as a guest, and are also to pay a small fee every month to use the services of the Club's house. First week is free, if you want to be an official client after that you pay a fee at the end of the month to help upkeep the house and restock the food.
Clients are asked not to cause trouble with a host, or to bother a host off the grounds of the Club. Clients caught stalking or bothering Hosts will be reported to the police and will face the schools for punishment. Clients are asked to respect the host’s wishes and note that the hosts won't be doing "Favors" to the clients.
Friendlies are basically members of the club that don't want to be hosts but can help out and greet and hang around with Clients and members. They are there for the fun of it. Rules regarding both hosts and Clients are placed upon Friendlies. They are there to be friendly.
I'm open to suggestions and Rules for the club. Comment below. Thanks.
