Checking up on All the Girls in the dorm
Who: Ayako and Open
What: Checking on the Girls in the dorm to see if they're okay.
(Also bringing cookies along)
When: Thursday evening after the dance.
Where: Girl's dormitory first floor.

After making sure the cookies were okay Ayako slipped out of her room, she'd check up on Asami last since she seemed the most okay, and Hana first and then Ami, then work her way down the line to make sure everyone was okay. Her main goal was just simply to make sure that nothing had happened to them, and while she knew the Glee girls were a strong bunch, it never hurt to just sit there a listen. Something, she thought maybe her father should have done more of when he was around. Then again, there was a nagging feeling that she had his same problem, the ears were open but the mind didn't always take in what the ears heard.

Carefully carrying the cookies she pondered if she could get Itsuki to maybe make some for the dinner that she and Kaito were talking about. If anything, warm cookies and a good cup of milk always helped some what.

Knocking on Hana and Ami's door she paused, "Um...Hana-chan, Ami-chan, are you in there? I've come bearing cookies."

Even without the promise of comfort food, Hana had finally recovered enough from the shock of the dance to accept visitors. Or at least, one visitor. Briefly, she wondered if the dance would have been nearly as overwhelming and challenging to her sanity if Ayako had been there. But an emergency had come up for her friend; she understood that and didn't hold it against her.

Of the whole team that Hana was now a part of whether she liked it or not, only Ayako and Asami had been completely spared from the irrational fury that had consumed her at having her night completely ruined by the Shadow Nest. And well, Estella and Hideki for their peace offering of cake.

At the sound of Ayako's voice, Hana cheered up a little. Not quite enough to smile but enough that the aura of suppressed violence had dissipated for the most part. She got off her bed without so much as a side glance at Ami to answer the door.

"Hi, Ayako-chan," she said, trying to muster up even a ghost of her former friendliness. Her tone was lukewarm at best. She quickly stepped aside to let Ayako into the room.

The tone caught Ayako a bit off guard but she wasn't suprised by it. After all she had been upset after the first event as well and understood what it felt like. Walking in smiling as warmly as she could she waved to Ami, and held out a cookie.

"Cookies to help, my grandmother says that chocolate does something to make you feel warm and toasty when you feel down." she set them gently on the desk, offering one to Ami and smiled.

"I...I wanted to applogize for not being there firstly, and I was wondering...well I was thinking. Maybe I could make it up to you? Just the two of us, go out shop, hang out at the beach, something?" Ayako hoped the offere made sense. She was worried about Hana and Akira the most, Arashi was strong enough to keep his mental state up, but she figured she'd talk to him soon enough to see how he was holding up.

Rubbing the back of her neck she chuckled, "I hope that I'm not being a bit too forward."

"You aren't," Hana said, face softening a little as she took the cookie from Ayako. She took a bite out of it. It tasted good to her; if only because it had been given with good intent. A tiny smile curved her lips.

"A relaxing day at the beach would be nice," Hana admitted. "I could use one of those."

A day without any worries or stress or having to think any more deeply than she had to sounded heavenly to Hana's weary mind. She had questions she needed to answer but she was simply too exhausted to reason through it all.

"Well I'm glad to hear it, and it's good to see you smile too," Ayako said quietly. She glanced around the room and motioned to the desk chair and asked, "Can I sit down?"

She moved a bit closer to Hana her voice lowered some slightly, "How have you been feeling anyway?"

Hana nodded her assent to Ayako sitting down. If anyone else had asked, she would have made up a lie on the spot and kept her real feelings to herself. This was Ayako, however, and Hana just couldn't bring herself to shut her out. Not after she'd been so kind toward her.

"I've been... upset," she admitted honestly. "I'm still in shock."

But oddly enough not at Ayako having secret special powers. Heroism suited her somehow.

Ayako slowly sat down noddeing her head and played wit her fingers some. A year before she would have told the girl to cheer up, that it would all work out, but after everything she'd been through there was no way to be sure, no way to just say it would all work out fine. When she looked up it was painfully obvious that she had held the same feelings of shock at one time.

"To be honest, I don't blame you, I was really angry when I...we," she corrected herself since they were a team now, "found out about all this. But I think relaxing and just talking helps work it out. When you're ready to."

She smiled softly, "By the way, I did manage to get a picture of everyone in their outfits before I left. You can have yours if you want?"

"Yes, please," Hana said, smiling back just as softly.

She'd put so thought into her appearance, what she would wear, what she might do at the dance. Hana had gone to the dance worried that no one would want to dance with her or she'd trip and fall into the punch bowl. Or that Arashi had just been making sport of her though that concern that had yet to make its way back onto her priorities list. There were heavier issues at hand now than boys and who liked who.

But photographic proof that she could be pretty and happy, too, even for just a moment, would help. Maybe someday she would be able to be able to look back on that night and recall more than just bitter heartbreak. Hana had the sense that Ayako understood that.

"Thank you, Ayako-chan," she continued. "For more than just the cookies and the photograph."

"Sure no problem," Ayako pulled out the camera. "Would you mind if I downloaded it for you on your computer?"

At her comment Ayako blushed some and smiled brightly, "Hey no problem, pictures sometimes say more then words can, I tend to think. Yeah they steal a moment in time, but usually that moment is something special or full of fun. I just hope that it came out good, that place didn't have a lot of light."

"Sure. Let me log in first."

Hana walked over to her desk, opened her laptop, and hit a button to deactivate its sleep mode. A window requesting a password popped up on screen which Hana quickly leaned in to quickly type in. Her hair conveniently fell over to screen exactly which keys she hit before pressing enter. It wasn't that she didn't trust Ayako. She certainly trusted her more than most at this school or even back in Kyoto for that matter.

Her desktop popped up on screen which had clearly been customized to obscure what programs she used and sites she visited. There were no icons, only a picture of sakura trees in full bloom from last year. Hana hit another key to pull up a web browser.

"Here you go," Hana said, stepping back. "Even they didn't turn out as well as you hoped, I still look forward to seeing them."

Ayako happened to glance over at the screen when the sakura flowers came up and nodded, "Thanks, by the way cute picture you had there. You like sakura flowers?"

She quickly pulled her cord from her pocket and attached it to the camera and then to the computer. In a short time after selecting the proper folders Ayako got up the pictures and downloaded it on the computer for Hana to see.

"And there you go, all pictures from before anything happened. You can even send them to people," she smiled and unhooked the camera. "I kinda was a bit sad I didn't get to dance that night. But maybe it was a good thing, considering what happened there."

She didn't want to think of what could have happened if the urges took over her. All she needed was for that wild side to come out again and all her hard work of fixing her mistakes, covering things up would come back and smack her in the face.

"Thank you," Hana said. "And yes, I like sakura flowers a lot. Most flowers, really."

Suddenly, she had the impulse to hug Ayako. Hana held back. What if it was too much too soon? She didn't want to scare away one of the few people she had ever felt a real connection with.

"I don't think you missed much." Her tone was flat. "It wasn't very interesting aside from the Shadow Nest."

Though watching the school robot dance and steal a three tier cake had certainly been highlights. Hana made a note to stop and say hello to Estella when she had some free time.

"You're welcome, maybe you and Reina can help me find some easy to care for flowers some time soon? I know by the time summer comes and with the heat, it will be nice to have some pretty flowers up and about." Ayako said with a pleasent smile.

"Really? I'm sorry to hear that. I know on the tape it was mostly the shadow nest," She shook her head. "Maybe there's a way for all of us to have fun again, without being bothered by creepy things lurking."

let's just say Ami's been in the shower xD

Ami had her showerbasket in one hand, and a towel wrapped around her head. It would be obvious she just got out of the shower, and her skin looked a little...redder than usual. But she was wearing a simple pair of black cotton pajama shorts, and tank-top. She slips into her room, surprised to find Ayako and her roommate chatting.

"Hi Ayako-sa--chan." She remembered to try to be a little less formal with her new..friend?

"W-What are you guys talking about?" Of course, the first thing in her head was that they must have been talking about her, given how self conscious she was. But she shook that thought out and tried for something less hurtful, and guessed they were talking about Shadows and Personas.

"Hello." Hana greeted Ami with a wave as she came in. "We were discussing flowers." She turned briefly to Ayako. "I'm afraid I don't know much about gardening, only flower arranging. But if I can be of any help, I will."

She turned back to Ami, smiling a bit.

"Ayako-chan brought cookies if you would like some. They're over on the desk." Hana pointed.

Hey Ami-chan, you okay, you're looking a little er, raw there," Ayako said gently when the shorter girl came in. Her skin was redder then usual and she assumed that Ami had been scrubbing very hard to get rid of something, possibly linger ideas of Arashi out of her mind. "You might want to put some lotion on your skin."

She nodded about the cookies and pointed, "Fresh baked, well as fresh as you can call pre made cookie dough, slicing and putting in the oven." Ayako looked a litte embaressed by that part but smiled none the less, and glanced at Hana, "I know nothing about aranging them, so any help I can get making my side look more, festive I guess would be the word, would be great Hana-chan."

She had hoped it would be noticeable, but Ayako called her out on her raw skins so quickly. In fact, she hadn't thought of how to make it better, so she was very grateful for the tip. "Thanks Ayako-chan."

She closed the door behind her and placed her showerbasket in the corner, then went for the cookies. It didn't matter that they weren't homemade, they still tasted delicious.

"Delicious!" She took another few bites and grabbed a bottle of her lotion from her desk, and plopped down on her bed across from Hana and Ayako.

"Flowers?" Oh yeah, Ami had figured that Hana liked flowers, or she had been told that.

Ayako smiled glad to be of some little help. The raw skin reminded her of the time she got a rash from a trail she had been on and had scrubbed it so hard that her skin was beat red for several weeks after, which wasn't fun at all. Blushing at the compliment she kintted her fingers, "Thanks for the compliment. Probably nothing as good as you make in Home ec."

She glanced over at Hana to see what she said about the flowers, after all that was where her specialty was it seemed. That and drawing.

"They're still tasty. And yes, I arrange flowers..."

Hana felt oddly shy all of a sudden. It was just something did, for as long as she could remember. Her parents had insisted she learn ikebana, just as she'd been expected to learn tea ceremony along with learning how to play piano.

"I could do some arrangements for both your room and ours," she volunteered hesitantly. "I don't think they're very good but I can try."

Ami continued munching on her cookie, planning on letting the two continue their previous conversation. She checked her hair to see if it was dry, then re-wrapped the towel. Somehow, she was still pretty bad at getting it correct.

"That's great! I'm sure they'll look beautiful!" Ami said emphatically. Right now her side of the room was very plain, as she hadn't thought much on doing any decorating.

"Well, I guess you know why I haven't decorated yet," she said, motioning to her locket shintai. "Glee stuff is really exhausting."

"Sounds like a great idea Hana-chan!" Ayako added to Ami's enthusiasim. Nodding in agreement Ayako pondered aloud. "Really I think we could all use a good spa treatment or something. Might be nice to relax and get all dolled up."

Hana blushed. She still wasn't used to people showing her support but maybe she could get used to this. It felt nice.

"I've never been to a spa before," she mused. "That sounds nice. Glee seems really tough. I think we could all use a day to just relax."

"Spa?" Ami had been once, but any thing where she was forced to get undressed made her weary. But she thought for a moment, that going with close friends could be okay..

"We don't get the day off though," she said of herself and Ayako, as Kiriko has already stated that only the new kids would be getting the day off of classes.

"It's been quiet so far though, only the night a few weeks ago, and the dance. Atleast it's not everyday or anything," that was one way Ami made it seem not so bad to be teenage superheroes.

"Well don't we all have off during golden week? Maybe we can go then? Just the girls?" Ayako offered and paused rubbing her arms. "And I have a discount to a lot of spas. They tend to do that when they get my father's name. So long as he's reviewed the place I get a discount for it."

"If you guys want to, I mean...If you guys don't that's totally cool too. I just think that it might be nice to get treated after what went down," Ayako said with a slight blush a bit worried that the girls would reject the idea. "I kind of just want to hang out with you guys."

"That sounds wonderful."

Hana brightened a little at the thought of a trip over Golden Week. A nice vacation might be just what she needed. What they all needed. A girls' day out held its appeal, too.

I wonder if Kasubata-san would be interested, she mused, playing with the ends of her hair.

"Maybe we could make it a regular thing? Like lunch," she suggested shyly.

It was a strange thing for Ami. While the two were excited about making plans for vacation, and for having fun, Ami could only think that the most important thing was to be training and getting ready for another attack. In her mind that was the issue that had to be dealt with first. But, she stayed quiet, unable to figure out a proper way to voice her opinion.

"I guess that's alright," was the eventual answer from Ami. She couldn't tell if she was the only one worried about these things or if everyone had the same doubts in their hearts.

"Okay that sounds good, we should probably send out emails to the other girls to see who wants to join in," Ayako thought and tilted her head some. "I mean balance is a good thing right? It would be nice to just take a breather and see where to go from there, at least that's my way of thinking."

She bit her lip. Was this whole thing too forward? But then again given that they would sooner or later have to deal with another attack it might be good to have something like this for the girls to at the very least get some normalcy in their lives. It wouldn't be good for them mentally, at least that was the way she was thinking.

Considering the options she grinned, "Actually that would be a bit of fun Hana-chan. What do you think Ami-chan, should we make it a normal thing for the girls to go take a trip to a spa at times to just, get the tension out?"

Hana's motivations for regular spa treatments weren't nearly so noble. The less time spent thinking about all of this Persona and Shadow business, the better. Maybe she'd feel differently later but for now, it gave her something to look forward to that she had some measure of control over.

She stood quietly, curious about Ami's perspective on things

Why were they asking her? She had no strong opinions and it was just weird to ask her, so of course she clammed up a little. "I-uh, well, I guess so, if you guys want. Maybe Oubai-san would want to come." She just looked at her fingers while she answered, hoping that her response was satisfactory.

"We should...be sure not to go far with too many people right? I--In case there's an attack or something?" She was so focused on the fighting and danger side of things, that doing something to relax was just too far fetched to wrap her brain around.

"Fair enough, Oubai-san seems like a good idea...Hey Ami, why don't you make up the guest list, and Hana-chan and I can figure out places to go, and then we take a vote as a group? Does that sound fair to you guys?" Ayako offered. Ami was right on the idea of not going too far, but if they stayed there too long for Ayako at least, she might go stir crazy.

"It sounds fair, though I'm not certain how the others would react to a vote." Hana's expression turned thoughtful. "Perhaps it would be better to set something up first and then extend invitations?"

She didn't look or sound terribly concerned by the prospect of another attack. Even after her talk with Renju, resentment toward the position she'd been cornered into remained. She still lacked a reason to fight. Defending a faceless public she couldn't care less about just wasn't enough to motivate her into placing herself in danger. Hana meant nothing to them and they meant nothing to her. Deluding herself did nothing to change her situation.

"Um, can we talk more about this some other time? I feel very tired. I'd like to turn in early tonight."

"S-Sure," she answered Ayako, nodding a bit. She really would have preferred someone else do that job, but she had a hard time saying no. And in the back of her mind she kept thinking of how she could pay for a trip to the spa..she'd probably have to line up another modelling job.

"Okay, good idea," Ami said in response to her roommate. She had still been somewhat walking on eggshells around her roommate, after that whole her running away after the dance. She wasn't sure how to handle it and had just been giving Hana plenty of space.

"Right, sorry for staying too long." Ayako pulled out her stop watch and blinked, "Man, I really should go. Homework's a killer here."

Waving to the cookies, "You two can split them. I'll give the other girls more later. So I'll see you guys later and we can hash out details then."

She gave them both waves and headed out back to her room.
