A Gap (prompt 112), Like Starshine to Me (Dragonball Z, prompt 111)
Title: A Gap
Fandom: Original
Characters/Pairing: Tasukero
Rating: G
Challenge/Prompt: #112 -- Break
Summary: There had been a rift between he and his brothers for some time.
It had been a while since Tasukero walked away from Nanjiro and Hikaru in silence. How long? Months, maybe? But he hadn't looked back. At least, not until now.
Why had he walked away? He questioned it. Was it Nanji's strict rules? Maybe. Or perhaps it was that he hated to see Hikaru suffer. Perhaps it was even that he never really liked Hikaru's best friend Manu or that he was less-than-comfortable around Nanji's close friend Alxadire.
He knew things were broken. A gap between he and his brothers had formed and time couldn't fix it. That was to be his job.
Title: Like Starshine to Me
Fandom: Dragonball Z
Characters/Pairing: Tarble/Broly
Rating: G
Challenge/Prompt: #111 -- Light
Summary: Sometimes an aura will light the way.
"It's awful chilly out tonight. I didn't think this planet's cold season could be so harsh!" Tarble murmured, drawing the coat Bulma had given him tightly around himself. "If he's not inside, he could probably catch his death..."
A green light shone in the distance; Tarble perked up immediately. Without hesitation, he dashed in that direction until his lungs burned from the cold air. He stopped to take slower breaths of the warm air beneath his scarf, his eyes scanning the distance.
A green light shimmered once more, this time stronger. Tarble made another dash toward it. He was certainly getting closer; it had been almost as though he were right next to it. He stopped again to take a breather, looping his tail tightly around his waist this time to keep it warm.
"Let your aura shine again please, my Legendary." He murmured.
No flash came. Not from the front anyway. A green light flooded behind him and he glanced back, the stern, emotionless countenance of the being he had grown quite fond of being the first sight he saw.
"M-my Legen--" Tarble began before he was cut off by a brief kiss.
"...Thank you for following me." Broly murmured, glancing away.
Tarble smiled gently. "That's because you're like starshine to me." With a quick kiss on the Legendary's cheek, he looped his scarf around the larger man's neck; afterwards, he led the way, letting his bluish aura be the guide.
