Lost didn't even begin to describe what Miguel was. It had been three nights since he had escaped from Oz. Three nights of hiding on the streets, running from any siren he heard and avoid being seen during the day time. Night was probably the only time he really moved around, desperately trying to find his way out of the city. His destination was Mexico and his plan was to get as far south as he could but with a map, supplies, or any transportation, Miguel's chances of even getting out the state were slim.

Luckily for him, Miguel was not the only run away on the move tonight. A younger girl was hiding out underneath the overpass with too many layers of clothes and a shoddy backpack but none of that interested Miguel. It was the map she held in her hands that had his attention. She was keeping away from the other homeless mass gather around which made it easier for Miguel to approach her.

"Perdóneme, could I see that map for a moment?"

"Go to hell".

"Excuse me? Come on, I just need a quick look, alright?"

The brunette woman sized him up for a moment before handing over the map. "Just one minute", she warned him.

"Gracias. I'm Miguel", he offered as he took the map.

"Brigitte", she replied after a moment's hesitation.
