Who: Dustfinger, OPEN
What: Arrival
Where/When: Today, at the apts.
Warnings: Shirtless Paul Bettany carries its own warning, no?

He'd felt himself sweep through time and space, as had happened once before. He'd been drawn from his home then, transported to a lake house in Italy, confused and disoriented. He'd lived the next several years in a state of constant confusion, paired with endless melancholy, and a deep rooted longing to return home.

Meggie could have done it, but he'd been beyond her sight when she'd sent the others back. He'd resigned himself to it. He'd missed his chance. He was stuck in a world outside of his own, destined to never see his family again. He would never accept it, but he'd made his peace.

And then Mo was there, book in hand, with intent to read him home. He'd closed his eyes, excited for the journey...only this wasn't home. When he opened his eyes, he knew he hadn't returned to Roxanne and the children. No, he was somewhere else entirely, and he wasn't sure where it was, only that it wasn't Capricorn's castle, and for that he was slightly thankful.

Frightened and uncertain, he'd done the only thing he knew to do. He was by trade a fire juggler, and he had found, even in Italy, people ohhed and ahhed at the magic Dustfinger performed. He shed his shirt, and drew Dragon's Breath from his finger tips.

In retrospect, he thought he ought to have laid low, rather than announce himself so openly. But the fire relaxed him, and the fire made sense when nothing else did.
