When: Backdated to yesterday
Rating: Pg-13ish?

Mal was completely shocked by Simon's slip that Zoe was having twins. He could understand why Simon knew; after all, he was Zoe's doctor and if he didn't know that she was having twins, well, Mal just wouldn't have much faith in his doctoring abilities. What he couldn't wrap his brain around was why his second-in-command hadn't told him about that. Twins. Two babies instead of just one; it was completely mind-boggling for the captain and he couldn't even begin to imagine how Zoe felt about it.

He licked his lips and headed down to the lobby, ready to meet Zoe for drinks. Well, he'd be doing all the drinking, if he had anything to say about it. He was fairly sure that his second-in-command was smart enough to know better than to drink alcohol while pregnant, but he was her captain and she was under his protection, so he was, well, protective.

He smiled as he spotted Zoe and headed over to her, nodding. "Zoe."

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
WHO: Inara and Mal
WHERE: Jail
WHEN: Early Evening
RATING: TBD
STATUS: In Progress

Inara was furious. She'd been locked up for her own occupation? Why were people on Earth that Was so unreasonable? She'd been spending hours locked in with these HORRIBLE women. They were...worse than whores. Inara didn't know what to call them.

Mal sure was taking his sweet time coming to bail her out, wasn't he? She could already imagine the look on his face.

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
WHO: Heather Kessler and Mal Reynolds
WHERE: The Carnegie Club
WHEN: Thursday evening
RATING: TBD
STATUS: Incomplete

Was it out of the ordinary for Heather to invite a complete stranger out for cigars and drinks?

No, it wasn't.

It was slightly out of the ordinary to know that the man had mistaken her for someone else, however. She licked her lips as she settled into the lobby of the apartment complex and folding her hands in her lap so that she could wait patiently.

She was wearing the red dress and carrying the woolen coat she was planning to wear outside on one arm. She had told the man the colour of her dress in order to make it easier for him to recognize her, after all. Heather shifted in her set and tapped the toe of one of her stilettos on the tile of the floor very quietly, waiting for this man (she hadn't asked his name and he hadn't given it to her) to arrive so that they could take the cab to the cigar club.
