Sylar rolled his eyes a little at Parkman; Fat Cop's buttons really were too easy to push, and it was very tempting to go after him and end this once and for all. The only thing saving Parkman was the fact that Sylar had promised Lilly Kane he'd meet her at her apartment to see what trouble they could find in the Big Appel.

More importantly, he'd promised Mohinder that he'd leave Parkman and Molly alone. He got Mohinder out of the deal, which was good enough for him. Besides, it wasn't his fault Parkman had gotten all pissy. Sylar had just been honest when he'd called him 'Fat Cop.'

He logged off his computer and then got his jacket, pulling it up and zipping it up. The collar got popped and he smirked, winking at his reflection before heading out of the apartment. Maybe he'd see if Mohinder wanted to tag along...

Heading to the elevator, he went down to the lobby and then crossed over to the next building. Another elevator ride and a short walk down a hallway, and he was standing in front of Apartment 246. Grinning, he knocked on the door and waited for Lilly to answer.

Despite the weather, Lilly was dressed in her usual short skirt, along with a pink tank top, her favorite uggs, and a leather jacket. She practically bounced to the door when she heard the knock. So far New York was far too much fun. So many hot guys in this apartment building.

She flung the door open wide, smiling brilliantly at the man on the other side. She leaned against the frame, looking him up and down appreciatively. "You are much cuter in person." She said, before extending her hand to him. "Nice to meet you in person, Mr. Sylar."

	Sylar grinned and looked her over, nodding approvingly. Her clothing choices were certainly unbefitting of the weather, but she had the legs to make the look work. 	"Hmm..." he said, looking thoughtful for a moment. He glanced around the apartment curiously. "I was thinking we could go out. I'm in the mood for ice cream." Never mind the fact that it was the middle of winter. Sylar liked his ice cream. With sprinkles. Rainbow. They were a must have topping or his ice cream was just boring. "So Mr. Sylar," She wasn't really sure why she kept adding the Mr, especially if Sylar was his first name, but it sounded right when she said it. "You often pick up young women on the internet?" Brain-flavored, he thought, but that wasn't really a flavor that one could get in a nationally owned chain of ice cream shops. "Oh, hmm, I'm a fan of vanilla." he said, nodding. "With rainbow sprinkles. Got to have the sprinkles."

He generally got upset if his ice cream didn't have sprinkles on it. People had been known to die. Well, at least, he'd thought about killing them, back when he'd still been Gabriel.

Lilly studied him as she continued to walk backwards down the hall, something her mother had always warned her against. She could hear dear old Celeste now. 'Lilly, you're going to fall and crack your skull open.' Lilly wished she could see her mother again just so she could say 'Guess what ma, you never needed to worry, Aaron Echolls cracked my skull open for me!'

"Hmm...You don't really seem like a vanilla kind of guy." She said with a slight laugh.

She thought for a moment, trying to think of the best way to describe it. "Vanilla's too....plain. Which you're definitely not. You're kind of intense and...there's something about you I just can't place. Like you're not as innocent as you look. Although I guess you already knew that. You don't seem dangerous. Kind of...different." As if that made any sense whatsoever. "I just don't know how to describe it. There's part of you that nobody else knows or sees."

	Sylar listened to her, an amused look on his face. "Hmm." he said, nodding. "You might just be right about that, my being different." There was a part of him that nobody else knew or saw. Sylar nodded, still smirking. There was nothing that he liked more than showing off, and since he had a willing audience. well, he was happy to satisfy her curiosity.

But which power to demonstrate? He really did have so many. His eyes cast about for something to use to help demonstrate his powers, and he saw a potted plant right next to the elevator. Smirking, he gestured at it with his index finger, drawing a little upward curve in the air. The potted plant rose off the floor and shot straight up to hover about three feet off the ground.

He drew a circle in the air with his finger and the pot began to slowly spin, tilting slightly to the side.

	Lilly's eyes widened as she saw what he could do. The more the plant moved, the wider her eyes got. She figured soon they'd be popping out of her head. What most people wouldn't expect was the broad smile that crossed her face. "That's...amazing." Her eyes lit up as she looked up at him. "You can do more than that?" Sylar nodded, raising an eyebrow. He certainly hadn't expected her reaction either, but he was glad that she wasn't freaked out. "Much more." he said. "I can tell when clocks are broken just by looking at them. People too. I can freeze things. I can even melt objects."

The plant was set down down on the floor and then he smirked, moving over to it. He glanced at her and then touched his finger to a leaf. Within seconds, the plant and the pot that it was in had dissolved into a puddle of liquidy goo on the floor.

"Freeze things." Sylar said with a smirk as he stepped into the elevator. He concentrated for a moment and his hand began to glow blue. "I made my mother a snow globe once." His face turned whimsical at the thought. "Took the hose from the sink and turned the droplets to snow, formed them around her. She freaked out. Grabbed a pair of scissors and tried to kill me."

His face hardened for a moment, remembering how that fight had ended. Then he smiled charmingly at Lilly. "I guess we can't all be open-minded."
