It hadn't taken Heather to decide that taking Steve to Tribeca Grill would likely be a safe bet. She picked out a typical outfit that would be verging on 'appropriate' before heading to Steve's apartment, arriving shortly before seven.

She lifted a delicate hand to knock and ... well, waited. Heather was very much aware that she was acting out because Mick had ignored her for months, but the fact was that she was merely having dinner with men -- not sex.

Steve made sure to dress up nicely. He had a clean, light blue shirt on under a dark blue pinstripe blazer with slacks to match. Checking himself in the mirror he was sure to get the flowers he'd purchased out of the fridge. What? It wasn't a date but whenever one went out with a lady it was always polite to bring flowers. Thus he moved to open the door, smiling at Heather.

"Good evening." He greeted, offering up the flowers.

	Ah -- flowers, she should have expected that. "Good evening, Steve. I trust you're ready to go?" He certainly looked sharp in that suit, and Heather's brief but appreciative gaze reflected as much. "I...I don't know. I give trust easy but control? Well. Control is something I like to have. Not that I've had any control over my life since the War but...still." Steve frowned a little bit and glanced at his lap.

His work for the government had taken away his ability to control many of the aspects of his life. He was a super soldier, bred to fight and nothing more.
