WHAT: Admiring the architecture, gaining inspiration for his operas.

NOTE: Come, poke the Phantom. He might appreciate it.
The Phantom had never been a man of religion, even during his time in Persia, but a small part of him had always held a fascination for the buildings - incredible Gothic structures, beautifully constructed and something for him to aspire towards in his own designs.
And, of course, they reminded him of Christine. He'd first revealed himself as her Angel in the chapel of the Opéra Populaire, after all - and such rapture that had invoked in her!
He self-consciously straightened his mask, looked up at the ceiling, and half-wished he'd brought his violin with him. The acoustics in this building would've made for quite the impressive performance...
