Add to Memories Tell a Friend
Who: Elle Bishop and Richard Sanders
When: Tonight
Where: Picking her up at her place and then who knows
What: Her freaking out a little about being a kid
Warnings: Maybe some cursing?

Waking up in her normal body, back to her normal self, Elle was trying not to freak out too bad. She remembered being a nine year old kid who had made the electricity go out, and played games and stayed with Claude. Then had been rescued by Sylar and hugged him and got fed ice cream by him and Peter. Beyond weird and messed up and she didn't know how to react. At all. So she had paced around a lot.

Richard was coming to get her, which was good. It would be nice to see a face that hadn't seen her when she was a little kid. And he was nice, which meant she was probably going to end up seriously messing him up, because really who could trust her? She couldn't even trust herself. So she waited, not knowing what the heck was going to happen, but worrying. And trying not to freak out.

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
Who: Elle and Richard
What: Coffee and friendly chatting. It's what Richard does best.
When: Monday evening
Where: Undetermined coffee shop #1
Rating: PG for now

Richard knew that in this day and age, from what he had seen on the streets and read in 'magazines' that he had seen being sold on the corner by the hotel ... asking a woman to coffee was not unheard of. That didn't mean that he was particularly used to doing so, however, or that it didn't make him nervous.

But the girl had seemed nice enough and his curiosity about her 'talent' was far too great to ignore. He tugged on the collar of his jacket absently and glanced about, waiting for who he assumed was the girl he was waiting for.

Oh, for God's sake. Had he forgotten to give his name -- surely she wasn't going to come at all. How improper could he get, honestly?

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
Who: Liir and Lady Heather
What: Dinner
Where: The lobby to...
When: Wednesday evening
Rating: PG

Liir hadn't had anything to dress in, of course, but he did have his training. Of course, the military precision wasn't the helpful part, but the lessons that'd come during his time in the military, the ones he'd learned mostly by watching...

How to step, how to smile, how to wear his hair to thrill the ladies on the pavement. That he put to reasonable use as he had to make the best of, well, an unfortunate situation, at the very least. And she deserved the effort, at least, if she was going to cover his meal for no other reason than finding his answers interesting.

As such, he was there early and slouching attractively, unsure of what might await him.

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
Who: Liir and anyone else who'd like to come by [open!]
What: A bit of exploring
Where: Union Square Market
When: Wednesday afternoon and early evening
Rating: PG at the moment.

He had ventured outside of the apartment building, legs itching curiously to see this strange new world he was in. He was struck by the strange newness of certain features, grown like moss on the ancient stump of Civilization. The great mechanical devices that littered the streets, odd self-contained locamotives, were nothing to the massive buildings that towered above all and the overbright signs and flags that hung above every inch.

Eventually, however, he'd found something familiar enough: an open market, filled with fresh produce and farm-provided meats, cheeses and wines and pots full of fragrant flowers. The variety of items was almost dizzying and his lack of funds made it less entertaining than it might be, but the benches provided were free enough even if there was a pack of girls some few seats away who kept looking at him oddly.

A City. It was a City. He'd just have to learn this one as he'd learned the Emerald.

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
Who: Gabriel Gray & Heidi Petrelli
What: Showing her around
When: After Heidi's arrival
Where: The Prideview Apartments & New York
Rating: PG
Status: In Progress

Gabriel was relieved with the appearance of someone who, while a stranger and clearly related to the people that were acting oddly about him, didn't jump on him for being horrible or dangerous or a murderer. The chance for company that would at least know the circumstances of the area that he had came from while not being frightened of him as someone that he didn't even know was more than he could resist. Even if he was still trying to get used to this city himself and the small yet noticeable differences, he had enough time under his belt in New York in general that there was no issues with him navigating.

Wandering down to the lobby, Gabriel lingered by the doorway and glanced back towards the stairwell, hands in his pockets as he leaned back against the wall. While he was more than patient, he also was prone to worry. It shouldn't take that long to get downstairs, should it?

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
Who: Lady Heather and Steve Rogers
What: Dinner
Where: Tribeca Grill, Downtown NYC
When: 7-ish tonight
Rating: TBD

It hadn't taken Heather to decide that taking Steve to Tribeca Grill would likely be a safe bet. She picked out a typical outfit that would be verging on 'appropriate' before heading to Steve's apartment, arriving shortly before seven.

She lifted a delicate hand to knock and ... well, waited. Heather was very much aware that she was acting out because Mick had ignored her for months, but the fact was that she was merely having dinner with men -- not sex.

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
Who: Charlie and Jubilee
What: Coffee and bounciness
When: Eightish
Warnings: Sparkles, and bouncy teenagerness.

Charlie was pacing the lobby, his steps bouncy and light. He was going on a date! A date with a super hot chick! Yay!

He'd even dressed up a bit, wearing a polo shirt and a pair of nice black jeans. His hair was spiked, and he had even tried to clean his sneakers.

That wasn't so successful, really, but that was okay!

August 6th, 2008

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
Who: Jonathan Crane and Harley Quinn
Where: A vaguely private meeting place
When: Now
Rating: TBD

He was taking a huge risk, even inviting disaster into his personal life simply by holding this meeting with Dr. Quinzel. Still, Jonathan Crane was more prone than ever to take risks after the attack on the Narrows. A man with little to lose rarely hesitates in putting it all on the line. So he had called Harleen Quinzel, agreeing to meet someone that was public (for cover) but not too public (for an entirely different type of cover). Nervously, he waited, mouth dry.

He wasn't afraid. Oh no. He was above such emotion. Fear controlled human psychology, but he was much better than that. So why did the persona of fear control him?

Except it didn't, no sir. He was his own man. Crazy, but determined to move on with his life. And besides, if he tried really hard most people didn't notice he wasn't all there.

What could possibly go wrong?

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
Who: Jonathan Crane and Clio
Where: A coffee shop
When: Nowish?
Rating: TBD

All right, so she'd agreed that meeting Jonathan in person was a good idea. That didn't mean she wasn't nervous about it - interacting with mortals always made her antsy for some reason or another and she had never really figured out why - probably because the muses rarely did nice things for people the first time around.

She smoothed out her hair and waited in front of the shop with her arms crossed over her chest. At least she had the advantage of knowing what he looked like since she had her knowledge about him - that was a plus. Now all that was left was to wait.

Hopefully he'd be on time. Lateness wasn't something she much cared for.

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
WHO: The Joker, Dick Grayson, Barbara Gordon (and starring Bruce Wayne as THE GODDAMN BATMAN)
WHERE: Gingerbread Bakery...>_>
WHEN: Monday Afternoon...let's go with that
RATING: TBD
STATUS: incomplete

Barbara Gordon was only slightly nervous about the events of the day. True she had a bit of a safety net with her, tucked safely in her ear, but that didn't mean that she was safe. She was trying to make a deal with a psycho after all.

"What's taking him so long," she said softly, pacing around the bakery and peering out the front window every so often. "This is...maddening," she added, sighing a bit too loudly without thinking about the mic she was wired up to. Bruce was going to have a fit when he got an ear full of that.
