Every time I write in this journal, I almost start it with "long time, no update"... clearly, I don't update often. I think my last one is from last year or something like that. Oops!
I'm applying for characters at a dozen different games right now (not really, but it feels like it) in hopes of jumping back into the RP world again. I never realize how much I enjoy RPing until I ignore this journal for a few months. :\ I'm also working on starting up a new Marauder game (!!). I haven't seen a MWPP game around that I've wanted to join since RM and DTW, so I grabbed a pretty layout from Jadis' layout journal and started working on the content! Hopefully I'll have it up in a week (or two, let's be real).

Holds last until the game opens or for five days once the game has opened. One extension of two days is allowed if asked for before the original hold expires. There will be no second extensions and once the extension runs out the character will be deemed available once again. Characters must be held before they can be applied for. The New Hogsmeade Village
May 2, 2005. On the seven-year anniversary of the Battle of Hogwarts, Minister Shacklebolt announces the Ministry of Magic’s intention to begin an experimental live/work community in Hogsmeade Village. For the first time since the Second War, halfbloods, Muggleborns, and purebloods are to reside in complete cooperation and harmony.
For halfbloods and Muggleborns, the incentives are many: the opportunity to begin anew, free of the prejudice of the recent past. The opportunity, too, to contribute to the flagging wizarding economy with the Flumes Fund, a Ministry initiative that awards business grants to once-depressed populations. For some purebloods, the advantage is singular-- the opportunity to expunge a violent past of genocide and repression with twelve months of exemplary behavior. Thousands file residence applications. Only a handful receive an official welcome to the village of Hogsmeade.
But will the Hogsmeade Project-- so named by senior Ministry officials-- succeed? Can Minister Shacklebolt broker peace between suspected Death Eaters and war orphans? Or will the new Hogsmeade Village come to represent just another of the wizarding world’s failed attempts to rebuild a once thriving society?
