Harry Potter Fans on IJ

Hi, I thought I'd post my first fanfic here, since I just got done with the 17th chapter. It was started in 2004 and is not yet finished. The writing changes somewhat in between - for the better, as I hope ;)

Summary: Cliché. A lot. *lol* No, seriously: Having resumed his spying on the Dark Lord, Severus begins to crack. Remus notices, but will he find out the reason, andcan he do anything? How does Lucius fit in? And will Severus be able to help Remus over Sirius's death?


Something Special -- Chapter Index

I was wondering if anyone might be willing to help improve the Harry Potter category or the Harry Potter article on Fan History? Both have, at times, a tendency to focus, to their detriment, on the negative things going on in the fandom. It would be really nice to see them improved to include more positives that the Harry Potter fandom has done such as charity events, helping out other fans going through hard times, etc. Besides fixing them to improve the focus, other parts could use some help. Most of the articles about Harry Potter LiveJournal communities are pretty stub like. The pages about Harry Potter characters and Harry Potter pairings don't really reflect how fandom reacted in those communities to new canon release and movie news. Any help in improving anything in the Harry Potter section would be very much appreciated, even if it is only to fix grammatical mistakes. :)

Fan History is also looking to improve articles in the Harry Potter fans directory. (Page takes a while to load because it is so big.) It currently has articles about 110,557 members of the fandom. Most of them are pretty simple without much information as they were created by FanFictionNetBot. Getting some of the expanded would be awesome as you can really tell a fandom's history through its individual members.

I would wager that most of you remember darklord_news, a small journal used for reccing the week's Voldemort and Tom-centric works.

Unfortunately darklord_news is no longer with us. In its place is the new team_darklord.

This is a community that everyone is invited to watch as it houses recs pertaining to Voldemort and Tom-centric works at least once a week. The mods are friendly and promise to give everyone a week's notice if they ever decide to walk off the face of the Earth.

So please watch our new community! We welcome any recs as well!

Harry receives the pet his parents had bought for him when Hagrid brings him to Gringotts for the first time
