Muis!
Hello, sweetheart! I just thought I’d stop, see how you were doing today-- and finally write you a letter. How is everything at school? Are you enjoying your final year? I’m sure you’re having a better time there than I am here, writing reviews on different brands of quills. Whatever you decide to do after you graduate, don’t opt for journalism. It’ll bring you nothing but pain, premature grey hairs and awful bosses who give the good stories the world really cares about away to their nephews. At least I got a free trip to Edinburgh. That’s something, right?
Yes, I know. Not really.
You wouldn’t have happened to have read Nostrid Barkstrad’s memoir, have you? It’s selling brilliantly right now but I’m guessing you haven't had the chance. That’s alright! What with the development of his numerology techniques, I guess it might not be your flavour. It’s a pity, I haven’t been able to talk about it to anyone yet!
Do you need anything from home? Everything still quite clear on the eczema front? I was told that smoking cigarettes can be just as great a cause of outbreaks as stress-- you know, you should think about that.
I would be very happy to get a letter from you soon.
Love & kisses,
~ Brigida
P.S. No boys still, yes? I'm sorry, I don't mean to be rude, but you're eighteen now. I have to ask.
