Current mood: mischievous

Who: Anyone and everyone who wants to participate
What: Halloween Party/Dance
Where: The campus function hall
When: Tonight! Saturday, October 31st
Warnings: Boo!

The function hall was decked out in the colors of the holiday, blacks and oranges hanging in trails of crepe paper from the ceiling, dipping low but still above the heads of the revellers. Cobwebs were draped about in artful curtains across most of the windows complete with small plastic spiders. Skeletons and ghosts hung here and there suspended in mid-air. The music in the room was low and appropriately eerie, trying to set the theme of the night. Artificial stars, courtesy of the school's magic department, glittered about the illusion of a night sky that lined the ceiling. Candles glittered around the perimeter of the room, their flames also bewitched so that there'd be no need for the fire department this night.

Of course there was food and beverages as well, spread out among the tables that lined the open dancefloor. The academy had gone all out, it seemed. Now it was just a matter of the revellers to arrive and complete the Halloween collage.
