This show- "Hoarders"- is really depressing. And coming from me, that says something. I'm usually not depressed, but this show is really helping me get there. :(

SNOW! There's snow outside!

This. Isn't. Funny. AT ALL! The next time I see that dog Croix I'm going to properly train him in the discernment of picking out actual Gergo merchandise to send to me! How dare he send me this impostor Geugo! I'll bet he did it on purpose!

...I must have been really tired. I don't remember the last time I slept that long. Of course, I'm not exactly proud of that, I do have a job to do. The Dive Coordinator is probably worried about me.

...ah... I have funbuns and kitty candy with me too? I don't even remember getting them before I left Platina. I think at this point, it's probably a wonder I even got back here without getting lost on my way.

[Cecil is standing in one corner of his room with his back to his computer, and he's wrapped up in doing.. something. Whatever that 'something' is, it's enough of a distraction that he doesn't notice his web cam is on. A few seconds tick by, and he then steps back and ties his hair back rather messily. Thankfully it's not bubblegum pink anymore... for the most part. He moves aside now to pick up something from the floor. There is an easel in front of him, and now that he's not blocking it, a canvas can clearly be seen. It is most definitely not blank.]

( Just a few splatters of paint, really. )

[Gathering up several paint brushes, Cecil looks over his artwork, and makes several comments aloud to himself.]

Painting is very messy. I do like the way this turned out though. I should find a frame for it as soon as it dries.

[He appears to be thinking quite deeply to himself. Then, as he turns around and comes back to his computer, he murmurs something else under his breath.]

I wonder if she would like it...-- Oh no. Is this thing on?!

[Frowning, Cecil reaches over to fiddle with something, and then the video cuts out abruptly.]

Much better. That was almost as fun as some of the fights I participated in before my career switch. It says something that I can be satisfied with only doing what I did a few times. Maybe I've matured? <3

I'm going to celebrate with a bath, and then a flight. I should enjoy the moon while it's full.

[No, she's not talking about sex. Or is she? :V No, srsly, she isn't. For once.]

...Huh. Weird, that should've alerted me sooner. Anyway, it looks like I've got a lot more work to do than I realized. If I'm not out in 15 hours, wait longer.

Such a bothersome manner of celebration, then again perhaps one would simply claim more droll than bothersome. Of all the birds to consume on a certain day of the year, the dish of choice is something as dry as a turkey. Perhaps this ‘holiday’ needs reconsideration in a few aspects.

Or perhaps it is merely not for me. I believe I shall avoid it the next time that it comes around.

However speaking of provisions, the time is nigh to gather something to munch on. A journey into town I gather would be best. Following that, work needs completion for the previously handed in assignments.

As always, a meal first. It does stimulate the mind after all.

The weirdest way to celebrate Thanksgiving is going about it over the internet on IM boxes with a webcam on either end. Honestly, I’m kind of amused that Nate even came up with that idea let alone wanted to do it, sounds more like something that Jeff [deleted] a young teenage boy would want to do. I guess I shouldn’t be surprised, this is the same thing that happened last time that we were together; ‘treasure Elena, treasure!’ Yeah Nate, treasure that you never had anything to ever show for… Sigh, that man. There better not be another girl involved this time, or so help me... [deleted]

Enough about that. It was a wonky way to be together, but you have to do what you can.

I’ve got to get back to getting things ready for the classes I’ll be starting in the spring, so for the time being I might just go back to researching this dagger. Kali is a rather fascinating Goddess.

‘Take life’s punches’ isn’t something I’m fond of anymore.

I think I’ve decided to pass the time I’m just going to go to the Health Center and swim or something. There’s a ‘training area’ but I’m not exactly skilled in hand-to-hand combat or anything apart from what I’ve learned in DADA, and I can’t see the need for it here. Either way, a gym is more useful to me than an area filled with trigger happy blokes.

Ha! Bet you all thought I would put something here like ‘boy I sure am stuffed’, well GUESS WHAT? I’m not! Actually I don’t think that I’ve ever even been stuffed with food before, but that’s fine because there just so happens to be a number of leftovers I think that I can eat and attempt to stuff myself with! Mwuahaha! Let the consumption commence!

…and maybe later if I remember I’ll get on that homework and junk that I have left to do.
We’ll see, after all, homework is kind of boring.

I guess I kind of forgot about homework because of all the days off from classes for the holiday. At least I remembered to get to it now! The dinner with mama, Mystic Maya, Miss Maron and Mister Yuri was really yummy and I had a lot of fun baking the pies with mama too! I guess I had a lot to be thankful for this year and I hope that everyone else had a really good holiday meal too!

But now I should get back to this English work, I love dioramas!

There's going to be a SentaiCon hosted in town! Huh. I thought those were only popular in Japan, but I guess not? It's starting tommorrow, and tickets are on sale! (Why wouldn't they be? ^^;). I'll have to buy one.

Ikea's turkey induced coma finally wore off. Nothing drives the point home that your cat's awake like that cat pouncing onto your feet. Luckily he didn't damage anything in the landing, but a little warning would've been nice.

Hm. I guess I should do that before I forget.. Where's my hat?

Looks like I'll be tyring to find my extra socks. Not that I don't know where they're at or anything.

Actually, a shower would probably help more than the socks. I'll try that first. If I'm still cold, then I'll go from there. Oh, to those in my class, your work will be returned to you by this Tuesday, fully graded. Be prepared for class to resume on Wednesday.

Thanksgiving was nice. If I ever end up on a turkey farm I'll probably be chased down by an angry mob, but since I'm not planning to go to one; I don't have to worry. It also doesn't feel like the weekend, but holidays can cause that. I guess I should stop the work I'm doing for now and try to get some sleep, but I'm almost done with this chapter.
