WHO: Kittie & Georgie
WHAT: Georgie visiting Boulangerie
WHERE: Boulangerie
WHEN: Early Afternoon, 07/08/2028
RATING: TBA
Kittie could hardly believe what had happened in the last 7 days. She had seen relatively nice neighbors kicked out of their homes, she had been placed on lock down and gotten a shot in her neck so now she was being tracked constantly. And if that wasn't enough, there were soldiers everywhere! Her empath abilities had been going crazy with all the emotions running around, she had to take extra care to keep her blockers up so she didn't get swept up in it.
But now, things were starting to settle. A truck of new Mutants had arrived, the truck had almost hit her on the way into the bakery. Now though, she had dough rolled out and she hummed softly as she started kneading it. There was music playing in the background from an old radio she had unearthed in her cleaning and it played CD's nicely.
The oven dinged behind her and she pulled the bread rolls out of oven before sliding the cookies in. She set the rolls on the counter to cool. She brushed a lock of hair away from face and looked over at the large picture windows. She hoped to fill the window up with some trays of cookies and pies to entice people in. She wasn’t sure how people were going to take her somewhat sunshiny personality when so much had happened, but she hoped everyone would like her, and maybe she could make a friend or two.
She blew out a breath as her oven dinged. The cookies were done, the bread rolls for sandwiches were finished. Next would be the pies, one of which was going to be a Chocolate Swirl Pumpkin Pie with Chamomile and Lavender herbs. Once that was done, she would move on to her cakes, she really wanted to make her White Chocolate Raspberry Cake with some Rosemary to help heal a heart from heart break. Which was yes, ironically named.
