Portage Storylines

Okay everyone, I've been at the point of almost done with this guy since like December. So maybe getting some lines will push me into finishing him.

This is Chad Michaelson, a townie in the truest sense. He was the high school star quarterback just four years ago, and he went onto college with a full scholarship. During his second year of college he injured his shoulder beyond repair and regretfully made his way home. Now he's working as a mechanic in town. His bio so far can be found here.

He needs everything. Exes, friends, a potential love interest. Throw it at me, Portage!

I just tossed up an OOC intro, but if anyone wants to work out lines for Chayse, here's the place to do it, I guess.

Hey, this is Merci. I just app'ed this guy, Drew Hodgins, who'll be bunking on Ashni's couch for a little while. He's the brother of Blaise Zimmerman's brother-in-law and in a band with his brothers called Bagpipes! At the Pub! that has a little following. So your character may have heard of him/them, if they're into that type of thing.

I'm tempted to bring in a GP for the good people of Portage because, well, I now have a great deal of free time. Anyone interested in lines with a kindly but work obsessed young doc? I haven't picked a pb yet, but he'd be male, 29-38 and from somewhere in New England.

This is Suri Kenyon, younger sister of colby_k and long time on/off girlfriend to nathanbishop. She's a Portage native, grew up on a Dairy farm just outside of town and is the wild child of her family. She still lives at home and helps her brother run the family farm while their father is stationed in Iraq. She's also a college student/waitress/artist, which she takes very seriously. The art, not the rest of it. She's a party girl and loves going out, dancing, drinking, and generally getting messed up. She and Nate are currently on, and even though her wishy-washy/flighty tendencies sometimes send her running from him, she loves him desperately. Over all she's a fun, if slightly overwhelming, person and loves people. She is definitely in need of girlfriends, people to party with, an ex or two, and someone who dated Nate at some point that she really doesn't like? Hello, lovely people! My name is Kayla and I'm working on this guy! Some of you may remember me from my time here several months ago, I had a Mena Suvari named Sara? Anyway! This isn't about me, this is about getting lines for Nate! He's 24, been in Portage his whole life, and has been off and on with suriak since high school. Other than that, he's a mechanic, so he probably knows many faces around town, especially the ones that have faulty cars, lol!

He's a pretty agreeable person, loves to have fun and do random things. He's usually the rational one in his group of friends. Most of the time anyway. Not so much when he's drunk or stoned. That's when he gets ideas like "Let's see how far the dirt bike will run on vodka!" after they've run out of gas for it. Turns out, not far, ha! More on his personality can be found here. I haven't writen up a bio yet, because I figured I'd try and see if anyone wants a cousin or best friend or (____) fill in the blank.
So, Portage lifer, 24, mechanic, probably kind of a heartbreaker in high school since he always, always goes back to Suri in the end. Lines ftw, guys! :D

Hi gang!

I'm working on my second character, a guy by the name of Jeff Kazin Shut up, Bethany, I am not bringing the whole family in. He's played by Shane West, around 30, from Texas, and would have been in Portage for the last couple of years, so lines would be great. He's also straight, a rarity in these parts.

I'm waffling on his career right now, I know when he was in his late teens-early twenties he had a band with his younger cousin Derrick, but they didn't make it into a career thing. He went to college in Texas and so far my career choices are online blogger, history teacher, doctor, or lawyer (what any of them have to do with each other, I'm not sure, but that's what he says he's interested in).

You guys are great!! I am already attached to everyone so i couldn't help myself.....i'm adding in a new character. Her name is Ayiana Kubel. That's right she is Logan's cousin. Look out Portage! One Kubel is trouble but two is chaos in the making. I'm open to all story line ideas. Did i mention she owns the adult store Satisfaction for all your sexual fantasy needs. Hello lovlies!

Ronnie again with girl #3. This is Michelle Mercer. She is ethanmercer's little sister. She is 19 with the face of singer Colette Carr. She has lived in Portage since she was about 12. Their mother is originally from Portage, so when she and her husband split up, she took Michelle and moved back home.

Her basic info is up, and I will be working on her bio shortly. Since she is actually from town, I decided that I will not give her ex boyfriends names. Rather, I think it would be interesting to see at least one or two of them in the game.

Thinking about coming in here. But I figured I'd poke around and see who might be wanted for what. I'm not even sure if I wanna play a dude or a chick or much of anything about the direction I might go at this point, so hit me and we'll figure something out? Interesting lines will sway and I'm generally pretty open to PBs that I will play, but some of them are in the icons of this journal, so if any of them strike your fancy, feel free to let me know. :)

Okay, one more time. As you can see here, I have enough to app Sara, but she doesn't feel quite finished. I'd like to get some more lines, and suggestions for a new song. The one I originally chose doesn't really fit her after I've writter her out.

ok working on this guy here HOPE to actually finish him tonight. I have the basics up in his journal just need to fill in the personal history and personality for him. He's faded_truth23's best friend from high school/recently turned boyfriend. He went to an as yet unnamed college on a full ride football scholarship and could have gone pro but thanks to having posed for Wes in HS and taking acting classes in college he discovered a love for being in front of the camera so he got into modeling. A few months ago he'd wandered into a casting call for Perfection and the next thing he knew he was being cast and moving to Portage where he and Wes recently reconnected and started dating.

This is Sara Rollins. I still need to upload icons, but her PB is Kat Dennings. She's 24 years-old and she grew up with the Dunne's and Winchester's. She went to college, but never finished, so she had no idea what she wanted to do with her life. Zander decided to be nice and hire her as his personal assistant. The lyrics aren't set in stone, but everything else I have there so fae basically is. I should have her finished soon, but I'd love to start ironing out lines in the mean time.

Because I'm such a dork...I want someone to bring in Wes' bestie from high school. They've kept in touch over the years and perhaps he was Wes' first actual crush.

Sooo....maybe I'm crazy (or addicted?), but I'm thinking about bringing in a third boy.
He's a troubled teen (19, to be exact), who is fighting with his sexuality and struggling to find his place in the world. He got tied up into vicious street wars and drug running back home (I'm thinking Brooklyn maybe) and was picked up at 16 by the foster system when he brought in by police. He bounced from home to home until he was landed in the lap of a widowed school teacher right before his 18th birthday. Trying to curb the violent, aggressive nature of the boy, his 'foster dad' sent him to therapy and taught him a healthy release in the form of a mixed martial arts. By the time he turned 19, his foster father found himself unable to fully care for his child and on a desire to keep him safe (and off the streets) after a brutal attack that left the boy beaten, bruised, and bloody, he would send the lad out to Portage to live with his sister.

Basically, he'd be a newbie to the town who's extremely out of place and trying to find a place he can fit into- as well as other teens like him.

Would anyone be interested in having some sort of line with him? I'm thinking possible former friends (gang related or not) that might of moved to save their life and run into him. Maybe they are surprised that he's taken a liking to the same sex as he was so distant from everyone before his former foster dad.
I feel like he'd have some hidden talents- maybe he's good at singing and rapping? Might throw out some songs when he's trying to channel his feelings.

Greetings ~portagemod!

I'm about to bring in this Bella Thorne PB, and I'd love to see what sort of lines I can get for her.

This is Mallory Evans, she's fifteen, and originally from San Antonio. She will be playing a daughter of the founding family on "Perfection". She is a total sweetheart and a bit naïve. Her only issue is that I'm thinking that her character on the show will be around tweleve, which makes her a little self-concious. She's got one friend from San Antonio coming in, but that's about it so far.

So basically, Chase is gone from the game, although I don't think he's officially been dropped yet. This leaves me in kind of an awkward place with Maeve. Her main line was pretty much with him as the ex-fiancee', but beyond that, I'm really having trouble finding a place for her in the game beyond just randomly bumping into people. I don't want to drop her, but if I can't get anything going for her, I may have to.

So, ideas. Maybe someone in the show is a classmate of hers from Kansas University, or maybe an ex-boyfriend of hers/someone she could've run into while she was seeing the sights of America. Or if someone wanted to really stretch it, maybe someone from back in Dublin could show up. Maybe I could have her take a part-time gig with the show, too, but I don't know. Just some thoughts, and I'm always open to suggestions!

Hey all, I'd love to bring this girl in as a writer for the show. I'm still filling out her history, etc. But this is what I have in mind:

How would you guys like a set storyline for the show? I'm thinking she would be part of a pro team of writers brought in fresh by the studio to give new life to the show, since the stars are in the news all the time they want to show to have some better plots and credibility now. She's very very into her craft, and has the accolades to back it up. So she wouldn't be in some office in LA or NY, she would move to Portage, watch some filming, get to know the actors and crew and take their ideas and input into account when writing future episodes. Which obvi, means I'd need your permission, approval, input as muns as to what I have my girl write. So, what do you guys think?

Hey there! I'm looking to bring in this girl, Breanna Davis. She is going to be an assistant or a publicist for ~alliecanact. She needs some friends and all of that. A few things will be changed in her bio. She hails from NYC and her reason for being here is because of the job. I'm willing to adjust things in her bio if anyone needs anything filled.

Hey everyone! It's Seth again. I'm thinking of bringing in a second character here named Heydar Kurush. He's originally from Iran and comes to portage seeking some peace and distance from his family/business. He's a professional horse trainer and breeder, catering to those with fur lined pockets. He has no memory of his biological father nor the scandal that forced his mothers unwilling silence on the matter of his bloodline, merely that his wealth and status are built by himself and his current father. He is jokingly called the Prince of Equines and the house whisperer, as no one is said to rival his uncanny ability to handle horses.

He would be a new townie, willing to volunteer at animal shelters and ranches while he works on seeking training in modern equine medicines. He also would be available for use on set if there would be equines involved for any scene. :) Oh, and he speaks multiple languages and has a love of candles. He's also bisexual so!

His Pb is Jake Gyllenhaal, currently with his jaw length hair as he isn't on a business trip and has no desire to cut it.
