10:09 pm [spacelogic]	hey, anyone remember this comm? THIS IS BLASPHEMY. Westley/Buttercup was true love, that was the whole point of the story, you can't ship them with anyone else! Besides, Inigo would never cheat on Fezzik, never mind dump him for Buttercup, ugh. I hate all these non-standard Princess Bride ships. The fact that people write Zack with someone other than Aeris, Sephiroth, or Cloud. I saw a fic the other day that had him with, of all people, Rufus. That's right. The pissy blond bastard who was always flipping his hair. Rufus has always been a bastard in game never mind he was younger once, and *gasp* different. And Zack would never go for someone who was as cold blooded as him. Never. The only people Zack should ever be paired with are the ones I said earlier. If you don't think so, then you are just dumb. Okay, to give a bit of backstory here, a friend of mine only learned about what fanfic is last night during a discussion about the differences between the Dewey Decimal System and the Library of Congress classifications and how that relates to the Harry Potter books. Said friend doesn't read very much, but he's seen all the Harry Potter movies and has a thing for Hermione. Anyway, he wanted to know if she finally hooked up with Harry Potter in the last book since the movie isn't out, to which that husband guy I'm married to informed him that no, she ended up with Ron. Cue blank stare from the friend. To which that husband person said, "You know, Opie." The conversation pretty much degenerated from there, with the friend wishing the books and movies would somehow be rewritten because he needs some Hermione/Harry Potter porn. I asked them if they'd ever gone looking for fanfic, to which they both gave me blank stares. So here I was, explaining fanfic at dinner last night, and finding it utterly hilarious that neither one had ever heard of it before... and now they want to read it all. So, can anyone please rec me some Hermione/Harry porn, either fanfic or even fanart? Also, cat macros would also be appreciated! :D HOW CAN THEY WANT HERMIONE/HARRY? WHAT ABOUT OPIE?????????!!! 6:14 pm [spacelogic]	dear Heroes fans So, everyone, I'm glad that nobody's seen a need to complain here -- if you're not encountering fic you hate, that's a very positive thing. :-) Unfortunately, I haven't had a positive time recently. It's this damn' Heroes fandom. I've seen a lot of slashfic making the rounds -- this show is the one that kept failing to have gay characters, people! If there were gay main characters, they'd say so! There probably aren't even any gay special people, because they're evolved and it would be just stupid to have superhumans that weren't going to pass on their superDNA. Hiro doesn't want to have sex with Ando, nor do Matt, Peter and Sylar all have an interest in Mohinder. STOP WRITING IT, YOU SICK PERVS! Just because you think they're pretty is no excuse to write about them doing the nasty. Worst of all, recently my sister's been talking about Elle/Claire. ELLE/CLAIRE? WTF is wrong with her? Elle and Claire don't have really hot hatesex potential any sexual chemistry whatsoever, and they've got absolutely nothing in common. Even if special people could be gay or bi, those two would never get together. The worst part is I'll bet some sick fuck's already writing it. I just hope I never see any. 4:17 pm [spacelogic]	welcome! I started this place to vent about things that REALLY piss me off, and I'd like to start with my latest fandom: Babylon 5. I went looking for fanfic recently and was shocked to find that there was hardly any smut and romance fic about Susan Ivanova!!!!!!!!!!!! Look, people, Ivanova's seriously screwed up and dedicated to her job, she hasn't got time for SEX!!!!!!!~ She's not going to go having one-night stands with Dr. Franklin or anyone!!!!!!! And she and Talia Winters definitely did NOT have sex at any point!!!!!!!! Ivanova probably doesn't even masturbate -- she seems pretty much asexual to me. So STOP IT!!!!!111 Side note: Multiple exclamation points make rants more ranty, I think -- feel free to tell me if you think I'm overdoing them and I'll cut down.
