And now...the moment we've all be waiting for!

Prompt Lists: Round Five

You'll notice that the Western Media prompts have been handled a little differently; we're experimenting still. Also, please excuse any mistakes; all told we had over 2600 prompts and even split up as they were, things will slip past us.

So, you have a week; at some point in the evening on Thursday the 25th, I'll close the battle. Until then?

You must put the prompt in the subject header of your comment. If the prompt is too long, name the fandom and pairing and as much of the rest as you can. (This is so that at the end of the round, we can make a link back to your fic on the final Master List.)

If your fic is too long for one comment, post part one as a top level comment and then the second part in reply to that comment and so on.

ETA: I am aware that most of the lists off site are all scrunched together. They shouldn't be and I'm working on it. Thanks for your understanding.

Yuuta stopped him short by resting just his fingertips against the back of Hajime's hand. "You got anywhere you gotta be tonight?"

"No," Hajime told him, mouth running dry. "Not at all."

"Then... spend it with me?"

"Yes," Hajime said, "yes, of course, I'd love to."

And it would have been enough of a reward to see the way delight lit Yuuta's eyes.

He'd always thought that Yuuta looked good, on the tennis courts or off, and that conviction had only deepened as he'd watched Yuuta grow up, even at a distance.

Yuuta with his clothes off, though, was magnificent.

Hajime wouldn't have expected Yuuta to be a patient lover, but he seemed content to reach for Hajime and murmur satisfied nonsense as they ran their hands over each other, exploring each other, easy and unhurried. Hajime himself was content to touch Yuuta slowly, to learn the definition of his muscles and the grain of his skin, stroking Yuuta until he was nearly purring, and to let Yuuta kiss him, over and over, painstaking, mouth tracing over Hajime's skin until every square centimeter felt like it was glowing with the overload of sensation. Perhaps it was all the time that had passed; as teenagers they wouldn't have known what they were doing, or how good it could feel just to touch a lover for the sake of touching. They certainly wouldn't have understood the sweetness of delayed gratification, of how good it was to wait until touching was no longer enough, or how good the delay made finally sinking into Yuuta's body feel, with Yuuta's moans hitching in his throat and his fingers plucking at Hajime's shoulders, or the bliss of seeing Yuuta dissolve into pleasure, and letting himself fall after him.

After they had stilled, Hajime let himself settle over Yuuta, and sighed softly. Presently, Yuuta murmured, "You stopped writing."

It wasn't an accusation, or a question, and Hajime could let himself answer it honestly. "I told myself that there wasn't anything I could say to you that you'd be interested in hearing."

Yuuta's voice was mild. "That's pretty dumb."

The laugh bubbled up before Hajime could stop it. "Yes," he agreed. "I'm... wiser... now."

Yuuta lifted a hand and stroked it through Hajime's hair. "Glad to hear it," he said, and his voice was rich with satisfaction.

Hajime pressed a kiss against the side of his throat, and pressed closer.

Oh wow, that was so perfect it almost made me cry. I really wasn't sure at all what I was going to get when I put up that prompt, but that was just made of win. Thanks for taking my prompt-- I was starting to wonder if nobody would, and I love this pairing to bits.

The email thing: The first line that mentioned it made me smile, and you followed the whole thing through nicely. Mizuki, silly boy, did you forget that Yuuta doesn't place nearly as much stock in keeping up appearances as you do? XD Apparently.

Just... awww... I'm just going to go melt into a happy little puddle now...

	Hee! I'm glad you enjoyed it so much. I knew, when I saw the prompt originally, that I wanted to try to write for it, but it took me most of the week to sort out where I wanted to go with it. I forgot, were you the one that posted the other Prince of Tennis prompts? If so, we seem to have exchanged Mizuki/Yuuta fics. XD And same for me about seeing the matters of taste prompt and knowing I wanted to write it but not knowing quite what to do with it.

When I was writing PoT fics (which was a couple of years ago) Mizuki got most of my attention. Fascinatingly twisted little creature, that boy. And Taka actually got a lot of attention from me because I decided that compared to the rest of the Seigaku team he was lacking fangirls and that was sad.

Gah, I'm going to have to go back to writing tenipuri fic...

	I did post some of the other tenipuri prompts, but not all of them. grin branchandroot did the rest, I believe. Mizuki is fascinating. I haven't written as much about him, though. grins I actually mostly write Yuuta with Saeki. I like oddball pairings like that. (Reply to this) (Parent)
