okay, so maybe it's a little bit early to start talking New Years, but, this idea just came to me so bear with my obsessive need to plan, alright?!
Anyway, I'm sure everyone knows that MTV does a big new year's show in time square with hosts and DJ's and musicial performances, and I got to thinking about it and was like 'hey, that would be a really cool thing for the Gossip Girl stars to host since they're sort of a pop culture symbol of NYC partying right now'.
So, my first question goes out to ![[info]](http://www.insanejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) zignani, braidan, julietevans, shain, znder (& hopefully ivin if they apply!). Is this something you guys would be interested in having your kids host?
From there we'd need DJ's, I've already talked to zera and she is down, I think there's a couple DJ's out there, so maybe one more to trade off time spinning with her would be cool!
Lastly, musical performers! I know they only televise like 3, but, there can certainly be more to entertain the crowd! Also feel free to comment if you know your character would just want to attend, maybe be interviewed by the hosts!

Giving everyone a little heads up. Things are going to be nutso and crazy for me this week, so Lee won't be as active. I'll try to bring him back in full ASAP. And I still haven't forgotten about getting Rafael in the game! I appreciate everyone's patience and will be back in full force soon.

I have a question for everyone scheduled to be in Clash of the Titans and The Road. Hector is set to be directing both, and I just wanted to have an idea of a timeline. Like, when filming will start for each, so I can have him on-set and not dicking around in London. And I have no preference as to the schedule, so whatever you all decide on would be fine with me. so, it's nearing the release date for He's Just Not That Into You and i had suggested making a soundtrack for the movie since the cast is so musician-saturated and whatnot. you do not have to be in the movie to contribute to this soundtrack! if you think music you or your band has put out would fit the theme of the movie, feel free to leave something! from what i understand i think it may just be a companion soundtrack (yes? no? im not sure.) but either way, if you're interested, leave a link to the song in the comments and i'll put together a nifty little album to be released right before the film's release date.

So this Christmas album! I just realised I never commented to you guys here, and feel like a total jerkasaurus. Argh. Anyway, we will probably use everything we can, so please let me know if you're still interested - and for anyone who's new and interested in being a part of a Christmas compliation (that we will actually put together for you guys to download), click the link! Christmas fun!
Also, the benefit show! December 17 in New York. We haven't got number worked out yet, but I think first-come first-serve is the best way to do it, so if you're interested, let me know ASAP! We've already got four acts confirmed, so get on it ;)
BTW - for the benefit show, even people who aren't musicians are welcome to come sing a holiday jam or two! And while A&J are spazzy Christmas freaks, celebrations of every other kind are welcome too.

hey y'all!
so our resident christmas freaks (aubreylaine and jayda, if you weren't aware) have decided to join forces for good, and are putting together a 100% charity christmas compilation album! due to drop november 24th, the currently nameless cd will span genres, borders, religions, and possibly even space and time, to bring together a bunch of holiday music for a good cause! so, we are looking for anyone who's got some christmas/hanukkah/kwanzaa/snow/winter/cheerfully suited music... let us know if they're up for supporting a few good causes, and we'll throw together enough to make an alb. now, let it be known - these two are doing it all themselves, so friends may get precedence and foes may get snubbed. depends how much we can pull together!
there's also going to be, later in december, a benefit show in new york. everyone featured on the album will have the first shot at performance slots, but chances are there will be room for a few more. more details on that will come, once we get a tracklist put together, and have interest gauged! for the show, having a recorded christmas song is not necessary as it is with the album, so it might be a viable option for anyone who's voice doesn't have anything released.
so, give us your songs, and let us know if your kids want to be involved!

And so, I am without computer access except for at school and on my ipod, which isn't really computer access anyway. That said, until I can get either of my piece of junk computers to work (one is in the shop, the other is telling me to immediately back things up as failure is imminent!) I'm putting both jayda and kyleransom on hiatus. Actually, I think Kyle is due for an update so I'll probably get that sorted first, but other than twitter, neither will probably be very active (or active at all) and getting IMs sent to my phone never works for me (I think it's because I am in Canada perhaps). Hopefully this all gets sorted asap.
Have fun leveling past Jay on Farmville. :| (That is her displeased face.)

Gregory-S here to give you guys a heads up with a few changes happening to Greg! For most, these will be minor and probably unnoticeable, but I figured I'd let everyone know anyway.
Effective immediately, Greg is the Representative from Massachusetts 8th district, meaning he's a Congressman instead of a Senator. There's a lot more chance for him to advance within the House (Speaker of the House, anyone?), and it's a lot easier for me to keep track of what he's doing from day-to-day. He's also being moved from head of the NRSC to the NRCC..which probably means a whole lot of nothing to normal people, but in general means he'd still be in the media spotlight (the position is considered a "Head of party" position). Being a Congressman ALSO means he can be on Colbert's "Better Known A District". :-D Anyway, if you have any questions or anything over the change, just lemme know!

Hey folks, because I'm an idiot and underestimated how much work was going to have to be put into one of my classes, I'm starting to fall behind in said class. What with that and a bunch of other small irritations piling up to distract me, I'm gonna need to put my kids on hiatus for a couple of weeks. Have fun, and don't let your kids do anything Brady wouldn't do. (I know, I know.)

I'd really love to have Garret's next movie cast from within the game, so I'm giving one last call all you great people! Moon, which is slated to be released in late 2010-rogerebert time! Only the voice of GERTY the base computer and Original Sam need to be cast. GERTY might be a voice over--but it is actually the second lead character and incredibly important, as is the role of Original Sam!

The filming schedule is:
Late October - Late November: Rehearsals/Pre-Production
FILMING: Late November to the end of December/Jan '10 (in RL, the movie was shot in only 33 days)
This is a good little indy project for people in HBO/Showtime series (because they're on break right now). I'd LOVE to get this all set by the time October rolls around! Thanks!

it's hard to be active with this mofo when i don't have my laptop, so i am going to put him on a hiatus until i get it back. it shouldn't be more than two weeks, three at the most, and hopefully this little break will help me get back into his head again. so until i return, he will be in Albuquerque, New Mexico filming his movie and hopefully will be that little ball of energy he was when i first created him. thanks muchly guys :)

As some of you may or may not have noticed, I have had Gregory on Hiatus lately. The reason has been that the player in charge of his wife has been busy with school work and while I thought that was a really good reason at first, I'm starting to think it just shows how lame I am. With that said, I'd like to bring him back...and in order to do that, I need some lines so he can be active even though his biggest line is currently away. Any takers out there? If you're not sure how they could interact, I'd love to talk it over with you.
PS: This is also me saying I'll take him off hiatus, mods.

ATTN: Vegas People...
So I figured I'd put this post up to let people discuss the Vegas trip. If anyone wants to play any of it out, I'll throw up a thread. So far, the only real details I have are:
-They stayed at the Palms in Vegas in the Hugh Hefner Sky Villa.
-There was dinner and a trip to a few clubs Saturday night. There was probably a stop at the playboy club before dinner and Ghostbar after, but everything else is open if people want to throw out suggestions.
-Sunday morning was spent by a pool (I don't know if it was at their hotel, or they went to somewhere more trendy?), followed by brunch at Payard before a trip to the strip club.
Even if you don't really have any ideas, I'd like it if you commented so I can get a full list of who all came.
