Another year's worth of original slash and original gen powerfic (2009-10) Oct. 30th, 2010 @ 01:28 am
Cover for Love in Dark Settings Omnibus 2010

Here's a full list of the original slash and original gen stories I've posted online or published as e-books in the past year. They're original works of fantasy, historical fantasy, and contemporary fiction, which feature liegemen, servants, slaves, sailors, prisoners, bottoms, and/or 18-year-old students. (I also list a couple of fan fiction stories, in the litfic category.) As the boilerplate warning for all my stories puts it, "All of the stories feature love or respect, though sometimes it takes a while to get there."

The list below shows both my online fiction and my e-books. If you'd like to buy an HTML e-book containing all of my writings as of July 2010 (over a million words of fiction and 30 collections of fiction recommendations and nonfiction), visit Love in Dark Settings Omnibus. If there are any topics you prefer not to read about, be sure to read the warnings I link to.

If you prefer to browse by series or story cover, you can visit my home page. If you want to, you can Friend my blog or sign up for my updates e-mail list. The list of this year's stories )

MOD POST RE: FEEDBACK & POSTING Nov. 6th, 2007 @ 12:35 am
Okay, normally authors don't ask for feedback because that's just kinda...sad. But, if you folks want to see more than DFAS Giles's and my (yet to be posted) work in this community, it might be a good idea for you to feed the other posting authors, here.

Also, for those of you who joined as well as friended this community, are you authors or just readers? We mods (this includes Truly Tazi) would really rather not be the only ones posting, here, because that makes it look like we started the community only to showcase our own work, and that is just not the case.

Just food for thought.

AU plot idea Oct. 18th, 2007 @ 08:47 am
Both characters work at a hospital. One is support staff of some sort and pissed at the bureaucracy of the administration. The other is a doctor with a good heart who is up for an administrative position and plans to make changes once he gets it...but plans to keep that part a secret until after the position is his, of course. These two characters meet and become friends--maybe more (you decide)--until the support staff person finds out the doctor's status, unwilling to give him the chance to explain.

MANDATORY: BIRTH YEAR IN PROFILE Sep. 1st, 2007 @ 02:17 pm
Okay, I made an oopsie when approving some of your memberships. I checked to see that you had stuff in your journal and your profiles, but I neglected to check that you had at least your birth year in your profiles. This is a problem. You see, that's something I need to be there because of the nature of the majority of the posts in this asylum. One of the major issues censorship organizations have is the "lack of safeguards between minors and porn on the Internet," so...if I require the birth year to be there before approving membership and require that all adult entries made to this community are friends only, we're all set. Thanks for your cooperation!
