Looking for a Game

Game Fandom: Original modern-horror/fantasy or possibly a fandom where those elements are present (Buffy, Angel, True Blood, etc).
Genre: AU. The more separate any fandom-based games are from their canon sources, the better for me. I'm usually not all that interested lately in playing with canon characters from any fandom, even if I'm familiar with it.
Character: OC. A neurotic medical doctor PB'ed by Boxing Helena-era Julian Sands with a demonic twist.

What I'm Looking For:
Format: A primarily thread-based game, as I'm not on AIM all that consistently. Though I'm willing to rp short scenes on AIM or work plot out over AIM, certainly.
Journal Preference: IJ. Basically, I'd really like to house this specific journal in a group game. I'm not particular about how big the game is, or whether or not it's established. Small games or brand new games would be absolutely fine.

Experience and So Forth:

I'm a reliable player with over a decade of online rp experience. I've been out of college for some time now, so my schedule is consistent. I'm also very careful about how many games/psls I have going at any given time, so that I don't spread myself too thin over a ton of games. When I join a game I do tend to be active and outgoing, however I am really picky about the games that I join (right now I'm only in one group game). If the game isn't working out for me for whatever reason, I will let you know as politely as possible and bow out of it, instead of letting stuff hang indefinitely. I absolutely love writing, and I like to think that my characters are well thought-out, with a decent blend of depth and humor. There's absolutely nothing that I'm unwilling to try, I'm just tired of the same old song and dance, as it were. Ideally, I'd like to find like-minded individuals, who are willing to try something new and different.

If you want to know more about me, what I'm into, currently playing and so forth, my cdj is passingashuman. Right now I'm only looking to house characters that I've already made that are currently free-floating from games that didn't work out. Basically, I feel that I have too many inactive character concepts and journals, and I'd like those to be active again before I think about making any new ones. XD
