Oliver was glad he hadn't lost feeling in his arms. He squeezed Percy tight, "I'm sorry,' he said, and this time he wasn't saying it out of desperation to try and make Percy stay because he knew Percy was going to stay, "I'm sorry I did all that... I just acted, I knew something had to be done and I decided to do it. Next time, I swear, I'll talk to you. I won't leave you out of my decisions in future, I promise."
He rested his head on Percy's shoulder. That sort of declaration made them sound like a married couple but that was what being with someone meant, it meant you didn't live for yourself anymore and you had to include your significant other in your decisions.
