"Muggles," Verity explained, and pulled an oft-folded note from her pocket, showing it to him. On it were her sketches of the viruses as she recalled them. "I'm pretty sure they're hexadecagonal." She'd been practicing that last word over and over, trying to get it to sound smooth, like she was the kind of person who spoke about such things all the time.
"I'll need you to be still for awhile," Verity said with a shrug. "I have a few kinds of locating charms- things that will create an attraction between my wand and any viruses living inside you. If we're going to get them out, we have to find them first." Everything came down to that. Verity refused to even consider the idea anymore that she might be wrong. "Maybe you can just take a seat with your book," she suggested. "I'll let you know if I need you to move."
