this is my first post. at all. I don't have any friends on here or anything... so I thought I'd just join a photo community. I've always got my camera on hand and I've taken over 6,000 pictures on it of mostly meaningless things. but some turn out pretty good. so here you go.

washington park I went to a park in the Albany, New York, named Washington Park. Every year they have a tulip festival. I didn't get to go down while it was going on, but I went there the day after. The tulips were so beautiful. I went picture crazy. cemetery me and my friend [who is in the pictures, also her dog is too] went to the cemetery and the river that is in our town a couple days ago. of course I took some pictures. trip to the graveyard On friday night, me and my boyfriend went to a cemetary that is near his apartment. He was trying to look for his great-grandparents graves. I was wandering around by myself. I always carry my camera with me. I was taking pictures, and it was one of the most amazing experiences of my life. I could feel the energy around me, and I kept thinking there was somebody walking around me. But there was nobody there. I took pictures, had my flash on. Most of them came out black, except the ones when I wasn't near the graves [there is stairs and such], or the ones where I was near the new graves. I used paint shop pro to try and lighten them up, so most of them look kind of weird. I've never had a problem with my digital camera, taking pictures during the nighttime. I have plenty pictures, where things show up. Also, for alot of the time I was taking pictures, it wasn't even dark out. My Cat Ok, this is another photo I will toss out here cause nothing is happening here! Other than I like the picture, the only thing of note is the background - it was uneven, with part wood and part wall, but I cloned the wood background to make a continuous background. I was pretty happy with the way it turned out. Early work with the cloning tool for me. ( Zeus observing his domain ) |

Hiya! I am new here. I got a digicam last Christmas and take pics here and there. Mostly snapshots, but when I get the time and inclination, I work a little harder to get something interesting.
