It was dark in the closet and warm and crowded. There was barely enough room for Remus to fit in. They stood in silence for some time before Remus finally spoke.
"This is stupid. What made him think we would snog? I can't believe we have to stand in here for seven minutes... in the dark."
Regulus snorted. "Mind if I cast a lumos?"
Remus shifted on his feet. Oh. Duh. How stupid. "No. Go ahead," he said softly. He didn't hear the spell but he felt the tip of Regulus' wand brush against his chest. They were bathed in a soft glow.
"How'd you learn to cast silently?" Remus asked. It wasn't a skill that was taught until sixth year... and they hadn't even learned it, yet. Regulus still had two years to go.
"Someone taught me," Regulus said worrying his bottom lip.
"Who?"
"Someone special."
Remus didn't push it. If little Regulus Black wanted to have secrets... let him. "Gah. Has it been seven minutes yet?"
Regulus looked at his watch and shook his head. "It's been a minute." Remus sighed. Couldn't time go faster? It seemed as if Regulus had read Remus' mind because a second later he said, "It might make the time go faster if we actually do something."
"Like what? I've got no books. I don't see a wizard chess set and unless you snuck in some exploding snaps-"
His rant was cut off by Regulus' thin body being pressed against his and the feeling of Regulus lips on his. He was being kissed by Sirius' little brother. He was getting his first kiss... from... Regulus... Black. Regulus' wand fell to the floor, but the spell didn't go out. It wouldn't have mattered if it did because Remus felt himself closing his eyes, and wrapping his arms around Regulus' body.
Regulus and Sirius looked enough alike and smelled enough alike that if Remus tried really hard... he could pretend it was Sirius.
He whimpered in the back of his throat, and that seemed to do something to Regulus.
His kisses got deeper, more demanding, and he pressed his small body to Remus harder. Remus tried to back up, but he couldn't go any farther – the coats were keeping him from hitting the wall. Regulus shoved a leg between Remus' and then shifted pressing his... his... him against Remus.
"Oh," Remus gasped finally breaking the kiss. "Reg... Regulus... I... we shouldn't."
"Why not? Would you rather it be my brother? Am I too young? Too ugly? Too nerdy? I've seen the way you look at him, Remus. He's straight, my brother. Aren't I the next best thing?"
"I... I don't want..."
"Liar!"
Remus was horrified to find that he was pushing back against Regulus and that his kisses were becoming more and more demanding. It was so bloody hot in there, and he could hear Regulus panting, feel him pulsing through the layers of trousers and pants... could feel his tight arse and how perfectly it fit in his hands.
Remus stifled a groan and pulled Regulus closer thrusting once, twice... and then he exploded in his trousers, shaking and biting into his bottom lip to keep from making noise. He could feel Regulus go over the edge. He was tossing his head back, black hair cascading over his shoulders as he pushed against Remus roughly. His face was perfectly relaxed, and he looked more like Sirius in that moment than Remus had ever seen.
The collapsed together, panting. Regulus jerked away suddenly and began straightening his clothes. "We've not much time left," he said by way of explanation.
Remus nodded and began straightening himself up, too. "Regulus," he said softly. "Who... who taught you that?"
Regulus hesitated, looking a bit tense as he tucked in his shirt. "The spell or... what we just did?"
"Both?" Remus asked, sensing the answer was one and the same anyway.
"Severus," he said after a moment. "I... I can show you more of what he taught me later."
Remus opened his mouth to answer, but the door was thrown open, and he found himself face to face with Sirius, James, and Peter. They looked from Remus to Regulus and shrugged. "Well, out with you two," James said. "Told you they wouldn't be up to anything..."
